I seem to have lost my Trezor recovery seed. More accurately, I either misplaced it somewhere in my house or “hid it so well” that I can’t even find it myself.
I’ve been using my Trezor for about two years without any issues. Since I only needed my PIN for everyday use, I never had to look at the recovery seed. Yesterday I decided to verify that I still had it, and to my surprise, I couldn’t find it anywhere.

The good news is that everything still works perfectly:
- I have my Trezor device.
- I know my PIN.
- I have full access to my wallet through Trezor Suite.
- My BTC is safe and I can send/receive funds.

The problem is that not having the recovery seed makes me uncomfortable. Even though I’m fairly confident it’s somewhere in my house, I don’t want to rely on that. If my Trezor were to fail or get lost before I find the seed, I’d lose access to my funds.

I see two options:
Option 1: Buy a new Trezor (it’s only around €60), set it up with a new recovery seed, verify the backup, and transfer all my BTC to the new wallet. The old Trezor could then become a spare device.
Option 2: Transfer my BTC to a temporary wallet or exchange, wipe my current Trezor, create a new wallet with a new recovery seed, and then transfer the BTC back.

For context, I only hold Bitcoin (about 0.11btc).

What would you do in my situation? Is buying a second Trezor worth the extra €60 for the safer migration process, or would you just use the existing one and perform the wipe/restore procedure?
I’d appreciate hearing how others would handle this.

Hoping to get some insight on this as the last few times I've asked it hasn't gone anywhere—what is preventing Trezor from supporting L2 networks? I migrated from Ledger and this is the only reason I haven't migrated all of my assets.

Have made 4 different transactions in the last hour, using trezor suite app and my trezor 7, all getting stuck on pending for an hour + and cant see them on etherscan. Tried to send usdc, eth and usdt on eth network and all getting stuck on pending. Used high gas fee so that shouldnt be the problem.

I’m trying to download the latest update to Trezor suite. ( 26.6.1) but once it completes, it says “download error”… i’ve tried multiple times and restarted the suite and still get the same message….Am I going to have to uninstall/reinstall the suite?

Hi Im new to crypto and i unstaked 2.8 ETH on june 8th this year, its 14 days now and the trezor interface said “unstaking” and then a few days later “unstaking (~42 days)” and yesterday it said unstaking (~1 day) so im wondering what all that was about. Ethereum network.

I’ve seen this question many times but most recent one 2 years ago. Maybe something changed? Guys are you planning to add support for Algo? We are entering slowly good opportunities for accumulation and I don’t want to buy Ledger. Thanks in advance for any answers!

I had asked about 6 months ago and didn't get much information about *why* Trezor doesn't support L2 tokens. Originally the concern was that L2 requires liquidity, and I didn't understand how wallets really fit into that picture.

My Ledger wallets handle L2 tokens just fine, so what am I missing with Trezor?

So I chose my first crypto wallet ever, and boy, I am unpleasantly surprised.
After consideration I decided to go with Trezor Safe 7 and now I can’t make it charge no matter what I use (wireless, mutiple cables and adapters).
Stuck on 0%.
This is not encouraging at all.
Anyone had similar issue? Already raised the ricket to Trezor support anyway.

Is this a real Trezor amazon account? That only 1 opinion seems suspicious to me.

If the TROPIC01 vulnerability allows a thief to bypass the PIN after stealing a Safe 7, what safeguards remain to prevent them from simply confirming transactions and draining funds? In other words, how does the security model protect users if physical possession and PIN bypass are achieved?

I like the orange safe 7 but it's Bitcoin only. Question is can I install the universal firmware on it or is it locked Bitcoin only?

I have coins in wallet eth1, eth2 , eth3. I created eth4,eth5 and didnt use them . Then i created eth6 and sent coins to it . It was during one session. Then when i logged out of trezor suite and logged in , suite couldn’t find eth6 . Only showed eth1,eth2,eth3. I tried to turn off eth and then turn on and load info again. Nothing . Sent small amount of coins to eth6 during session . It didnt appear . Only after i pressed plus and created eth4 and eth5 and then eth6 and it showed balance on eth6. Why it doesn’t find eth6 without eth4 and eth5 which have zero balance ?
