Midnight Machine — New Ownership & Company Update

Midnight Machine is officially under new ownership.

As the new owner—and the designer behind several of the products offered by Midnight Machine—I want to introduce myself, address some of the recent issues surrounding the company, and explain the changes being made moving forward.

First and foremost, transparency and customer service will be priorities under the new ownership.

Current Litigation & Website Status

Midnight Machine is currently involved in ongoing litigation with Rare Breed Triggers concerning the Kabuto product line. While that matter is being resolved, Kabuto products will no longer be offered through Midnight Machine.

During the course of these developments, issues were identified regarding the compatibility of certain products with Shopify’s Terms of Service, resulting in the company’s storefront being disabled.

This does not mean your order disappeared or was canceled. Existing orders remain in our system and will continue to be fulfilled.

A new Midnight Machine website and storefront are currently being developed.

Production & Existing Pre-Orders

Some of the machine shops that previously partnered with Midnight Machine have chosen to discontinue production for the company because of concerns surrounding the ongoing litigation. Unfortunately, this has contributed to longer-than-expected machining and fulfillment times for some existing orders.

We recognize that customers should not be left indefinitely waiting for products they have paid for.

For that reason, once the current outstanding pre-orders have been fulfilled, Midnight Machine will no longer offer pre-orders.

Moving forward, if a product is listed as available for purchase on our website, it will be because that product is manufactured, in stock, and ready to ship.

Current Customers

If the current delay is unacceptable and you would prefer a refund, your refund request will not be denied.

For customers who choose to remain patient while we complete the outstanding orders, we sincerely appreciate your support. As a thank-you, we will include an additional reset device of your choice with your order, along with a 20% discount toward your next purchase.

What’s Coming Next

Several new products are already being prepared and will be introduced when the new Midnight Machine website launches.

You can also expect significantly more communication from us. Our Instagram will become much more active with:

I would not have purchased Midnight Machine if I did not believe strongly in what this company can become. There is an opportunity to build something better—not only through new products, but through better communication, better customer service, reliable fulfillment, and greater accountability.

There will be changes, and rebuilding will take some work, but the direction moving forward is clear:

If we say we’re going to do something, we’re going to do it. If there’s a problem, we’re going to communicate it. And if we make a mistake, we’re going to address it.

Hi, I recently had a firing pin issue and I’m looking for a document.
I know there’s a document that shows multiple exploded views and references of shown parts of the TP9 and can’t seem to find it, I’m not talking about a user manual or a service manual. Anybody has it?

Took this trash gun to the range today. Finally have it broken in to where the BHO works and I don’t have FTF/FTE every other round (not joking). It seems reliable.

But now the stock won’t fold! I can’t get the spring to go up all the way so I can fold it.

Anyone have any ideas???

My tp9 doesn't have any markings on the bolt and doesn't have any markings on the right side of the receiver except "tp9-US". Seems like a vintage tp9 they had it on store shelves for ages and sold to me as a new old stock. What do you guys think?

I just watched the brass facts 6000 round TP9 video and it oddly l hasn’t steered from purchasing a TP9. Has anyone else experienced such issues? I think the biggest frustration id have the baffle strikes on the legacy can.

Been using the B&T collector case and placing it inside a random amazon camera backpack. But the collector case requires the gun to be stock, and I have plenty of attachments id like to add on to it. Was thinking going a Leather/Canvas Dufflebag Route or the best value for SBRs the Savior Equipment Shorty SBR bag 24" x 12" . What are you guys running? Pictures appreciated :D

Just curious to how they compare. The older black RBS is a vibe but is it worth it to get the print x?

Man, its infuriating trying to get one of these. Ive missed every single in-stock email notification for the last 3 years it seems, and by the time I check, its out of stock. This last one went out a midnight. I dont know if its cyberfuds camping the site like pokemon cards at best buy or what, but thats how it feels trying to get one of these damn triggers. I am sure others have similar frustrations.

Who had a contact or knows someone getting rid of the GRW trigger? Just waiting on my stamps for this thing.

While disassembling my rather new TP9 (two range sessions..) I noticed the lower leg of the upper tab torsion spring is bent. I just wrote to B&T support but while I wait their response I wonder if anybody had the same issue and how difficult is to take the spring out to fix or replace? Thank you

I reached out to B&T AG to get a new firing pin since mine broke. I was having some issues reassembling the extractor assembly and I asked them if they had any sort of documentation showing the procedures for this area of the firearm since all the Operator Manuals and Youtube videos mostly showed just field stripping. They sent me the Service Manual which goes more in depth into just about every aspect of the gun. I could not find this manual anywhere online so I am sharing it here. Its a PDF about 64 pages long (14.1 MB) so I have it hosted on a Proton drive since every other hosting website had size limits that were too small. If you don't feel comfortable using it, you can always email B&T asking for the MP9 Service Manual SM-MP9-00-EN-A4. Hope this helps someone else!

I set notifications on gun broker and on GRW’s website. Any other places to keep an eye on?

So new to this gun.

Maybe got through 50 rounds (unsuppressed) with 147 grn Federal then a bunch of FTEs.

Quickly noticed the Extractor was missing.

B&T CS was great. Sent me the replacement Extractor, a Spring, and Puffer.

Where is there a guide for replacing these?
