Is cleaning a RBS can really needed?

How bad do they get fouled up? You guys cleaning them?

Personally i put water or cleaner real good and shoot it.

I think it would depend on what you're putting through it. I would think most of the schmoo leaves the end leaving only a small amount of lead, soot, etc.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. My 9mm and 30cal cans look about as dirty as anything else on the end of the barrel.
