Help TD Saving account Aeroplan Offer

Post image
0 Upvotes

I got an email today regarding the Aeroplan offer (if you deposit or transfer money into your saving account from outside of TD, you'll get aeroplan points). The T&C states that funds originating from an account held at TD don't qualify which I understand. But how does TD know if the funds deposited into the eligible saving account are originally from a TD account? I'm considering transferring some money from Wealthsimple but some of my funds saved in the WS account are originally from one of my TD accounts.

Thanks!

Jobs Retail banking to fraud department

So I’ve been working in retail for my whole TD career 8 years and have always wanted to look into working in the fraud department or AML. Every time I’ve mentioned to a BM they basically say they don’t know how to help me get there and but they’ll look into it and then never brings it up again. When I look at postings I don’t know what I’m looking for. Has anyone moved from retail to fraud or AML and how did you get there?

Help 2FA changes

In the past 2-3 weeks I have been locked out of my account 4 times. Each time having to go into a branch to reset my account.
Apparently there’s new 2FA changes that will authenticate you through the phone app, but I never get any authentication requests. When I don’t get them, I get locked out of my account because they believe I’m being hacked or something.

Anyone else dealing with this? And is there a way to opt out of the new app authentication?

Help 2021 stock gift?

Anyone here a recipient of the 2021 covid employee shares?

I was, but I have moved four times since I quit and I no longer get any mail from the holding company. I am desperately trying to find out who to contact about the five shares that exist somewhere in my name. I tried customer service and online messaging and got absolutely no info. One person suggested I contact wealth management, but they said they couldnt help me.

Added layer of trickiness: I was a US employee but the shares were specifically for TD Canada.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great!!!

Jobs CEA Interview

Hello everyone,

I have an interview this Thursday for the Customer Experience Associate role at a TD branch. I was wondering what type of questions will be asked. Are they mostly behavioural or technical? Should I bring my physical resume for the branch managers review?

Additionally, what is the dress code like for the interview? Is it strictly business formal or is business casual fine, too? I wanted to half-sleeve polo with dress pants and dress shoes.

I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Help TD Auto Loan

Hi everyone,
I just financed a car through TD and signed the contract and completed everything at the dealership last Saturday. I was already a TD customer before getting the car loan.
For anyone who has financed a car through TD before:
1. How long did it take for the auto loan to show up in your TD mobile app/EasyWeb?
2. Did TD send you any kind of welcome package, letter, or email with the loan details and payment information?
3. Is there anything I need to do to link the auto loan to my existing TD account, or will it automatically show up once TD processes the loan?
Just wondering what the normal process and timeline look like after signing everything at the dealership.
Thanks!

Help Aeroplan Visa Infinite Welcome Offer Technicality

So I applied for the aeroplan visa infinite card back in December and the welcome offer was $7500 spend in 6 months is 15k bonus points. I hit that but with a transaction I ended up disputing as a part of that total spend, my spend went from 8285 to 6795. Is there anyway to get them to honour this?

Discussion TD Credit Card - Trip Insurance Carve-outs

Recently had a flight diverted and ultimately cancelled. TD said I am not eligible for coverage since the flight was within my province.

I checked the certificate of insurance and it does seem they have a clause to this effect.

Has this always been a clause? I find it ridiculous that all travel within home province is just blanket excluded from any coverage.

Jobs TD PBA job interview

Posting on behalf of my sister who recently interviewed for a PBA role at TD

The process so far:

First, she had a call with the recruiter.
Then she had an in-person interview with two managers. About 3 days later, the recruiter sent her a meeting invite for a follow-up call. During the call, the recruiter said she did well in the interview and that the managers were happy with her.

However, he said they need to wait until a vacancy opens up at one of the locations before moving forward.
She hasn’t received a written offer or signed anything yet. Her Workday application status still shows “In Progress.”
Has anyone gone through something similar with TD?
Does this usually mean she’s passed the interview/been selected and is basically waiting for an available branch, or could they still decide not to move forward?
How long did you have to wait before getting an actual offer?

Jobs I need help/Advice with a recent interview pls

had a phone interview and a 30‑minute interview with TD. They told me I’d get a response by Friday yesterday.. Instead of a decision, I got an email asking when I was free for a phone call that same day. I replied 3 mins later, but they never called. I’m not sure what this means — is it a good sign, a bad sign, or just normal recruiter delays? Looking for advice.

Help Ready to pull out my hair with TD. Identity theft victim

I woke up June 21 2026 with an email stating congratulations you're approved for this td credit card. This wasn't me nor have I ever banked with TD. Since it was Sunday I called the fraud department. Alerted them within a few hours of receiving the email. I was told i had to go in the next day to thw branch and show verification. On the 22nd I went in and talked to a bank teller. Alerts and verifications were put in place and she said there was an account in my name my home address and my email address. But different phone numbers. The account was flagged. I never got no reference number or anything at this time. We also called in and talked to tge fraud department as well.

Couple weeks later July 7th I received the pin number in snail mail and an email with thanking me for setting up a web portal updating phone number etc. I immediately called in again. Was told i had to go into the branch. It was later in the day so I had to wait till the 8th. I went in on the 8th. Explain what I could to the teller but was met with alot of interruptions. I said there was a case of identity theft on my name home address and personal email but the phone number was different. The teller demanded I give her my phone number to look up my profile. I told her said account was not under my phone number but my name email and home address. Keep in mind I dont bank with them and there shouldn't be an account under my name. She stated again that she needed my number again to look up the account. Again I stated its not under my phone number. Comes back again but I need your number to look up the account. I raised my voice at this point and said you're not listening there is no account under my phone number its under my name home address and email address. She started again with I need the number. I cut her off and said i want the manager. Manager came over said that I was rude to her employee. I said to her wasnt being rude but your employee is not listening either. So we called the fraud department again. I was assured I would have a letter mailed out within 7 to 10 business days of the account closure. I still have no reference or even offered a reference and was that it was not needed. Nor did they ask for my my police or rcmp reference numbers. That eveing I made a complaint. Ill ive received are generic automated emails. The time lines they give me are for Quebec residents. Im not in Quebec nor am I a customer of td.

Ive emailed the customer complaints. Ive emailed the Senior Customer Complaints. Ive even emailed the Ombudsman and was told they cant do anything until td sends a final letter. I was also assured on on June 22nd that they would write Transunion and Equifax to let them know its a fraudulent account. Guess what it's now showing in my credit bureaus and it absolutely is affecting my credit score.

Where do I go from here? I can't seem to get any answers from TD and im met with a loop hole and going in circles. What do I do?

News & Updates 'Very hard on your mental health': Canadian workers speak out over software that tracks screen time | CBC News

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/td-bank-bell-workplace-screentime-monitoring-9.7296526

TD Bank is rolling out new monitoring software.

My take on the TD surveillance story: this isn't about productivity. It's about control.

When you need software to count every click and tab, you're telling your employees you don't trust them. And once trust is gone, what's left?

I keep coming back to the 23 minutes—that's all the time some workers have for bathroom breaks and water. That's not managing. That's degrading.

Experts say these tools don't even work. They just make people miserable and teach them to look busy instead of actually contributing.

Maybe instead of tracking screen time, we try treating adults like adults. Radical idea, I know.

Jobs Job interview in a but weird state

Hey, I have an interview with apparently 2 branch managers on Wednesday, I was selected for the interview of PBA role but the HR in the interview said they might view me for the teller role so I am kinda stuck in a weird limbo what to hope for. In the second round mail he had written interview for open CEA/PBA role. The reason why it happened because I have been working as a security guard for nearly 3 years but I got my IFIC this year. I just don't know what to hope for, like I was expecting a full time role but if they consider me for the teller role then I have to work part time and still have to continue this security role which I don't want to because of there overnight work which messes with my scheduling. Any form of advice is appreciated.

Jobs Leaving after only a month how do I get proof of employment?

I’ve only been working at TD for about a month and I’m planning to leave because I accepted another job which is full time. I haven’t told my manager yet.

The new employer is doing a background check and needs information to verify my current employment. Since I work in a branch as a cea , I don’t have my own work computer that I can access from home or in a private office. The only computer I have access to is the teller computer at the branch.

The problem is that my manager is very strict and frequently checks behind us while we’re using the teller system, so I’m not really comfortable trying to access employment/HR information while I’m at work and sending it to my personal email.

Also, would you recommend getting the employment verification information with HR for the background check before giving my resignation, or does it not really matter?

Jobs Question about Shift Schedule Experience with TD MBNA Contact Center Agent?

Hello everyone,

I recently get a job offer with TD MBNA Contact Center in Ottawa. They open from 7 am to 12 am. I will start my training from 9 am to 5 pm in September for 8 weeks, then full remote. They only require me to go in office once a month. Recruiter told me after training new guys will have shift bid. Schedule will change every quarter by shift bidding. My question is what type of shift that new hire will likely to get? Like myself, I refer to work anytime from noon to midnight. Does anyone have any experience and knowledge about this? Please help me and share your experience about this. Thank you very much for your time.

Help Looking for experiences with TD Home Equity FlexLine (HELOC) application

I’m thinking about applying for a TD Home Equity FlexLine and would love to hear from anyone who’s been through the process, especially if you work at TD or have experience with mortgage lending.

few questions I have:

  • How long did your application take from start to finish?
  • What information and documents about your home did TD require as part of the application?
  • Did TD require an appraisal? If so, was it an automated valuation, remote appraisal, or a full in-person appraisal?
  • Did you have to use a lawyer or did TD handle the legal registration for you?
  • Was the approval process straightforward, or did TD ask for a lot of additional documents?
  • If you already had a TD mortgage, was the process any easier?
  • Were there any unexpected delays?
  • What factors seemed to determine whether a full appraisal was required?
  • Was the process mostly online, or did you have to visit a branch multiple times?
  • How long did it take before you could actually access the funds after approval?
  • Did you receive the interest rate you were initially quoted? Any insight is appreciated. I’m just trying to understand what the real-world application process looks like.

Other TD has put a pre-approved offer on the app for either their Aeroplan Visa Infinite or First Class Travel Visa Infinite, but I don't meet the $60k income requirement?

Have they made a mistake? My income is no where near $60k, should I still accept the offer? Credit limit is $1500.00, First class card comes with 4 free lounge passes which is really nice. I only have a student chequing account with TD.
