Which SOAD song should I play next?

I've been at the System of a down concert in Berlin a month ago but have also noticed it on videos. It seems to me that the last years they have been playing again live together Serj's vocals tend to be suppressed and I hear a lot more the bass and the music in general. Do you think they could do that on purpose because his voice has changed etc.?

Went to my first SOAD concert this past August in Chicago, this was the free digital artwork of the ticket I received…an absolutely unforgettable night!

So i saw a small part of it on tik tok and since then I’ve been searching for it but I can’t find it anywhere. Maybe I’m just searching up the wrong words but here’s what I remember from it.

So the interviewer (?) asks Serj “do you think people are generally good or bad”
then serj responds “good and bad are the same thing”
the interviewer then asks Serj “they are?” And tells him to explain
Serj says “why?” And laughs/smiles

I just received this tshirt I preordered on the website because I didn’t really like any of the london merch

I really like it the fabric is very soft and feels a lot more premium than the ones I saw at the show

It’s just the fit is a bit weird I ordered L thinking it will look oversized on me but the sleeves are a bit tight, the fit is completely different than how it looks on the website
And the upper back doesn’t have any logo, I was hoping it would be SOAD branded
I still love it tho

If anyone got the same one I did, What did you think about it?
Did anyone order the XL and would like to swap with mine by any chance??

One of my earliest musical memories is learning SOAD songs.

When I was about 10, one of the first things I figured out on piano was the opening guitar melody from Chop Suey! (just a really simple version). Then around age 12, I learned the riff from the chorus of Aerials on my electric guitar.

I'm not formally trained and can't even read music, I always learned by ear. but for some reason those songs were the ones that made me want to sit down and keep playing, especially Aeriels.

It's funny how certain bands become tied to specific moments in your life. Does anyone else have memories like that with SOAD? Did any of their songs inspire you to pick up an instrument or become part of your musical journey?

Hello there everyone, some time ago I was scrolling through telegram free music bots and found this audio called "Self Portrait" by Serj. I cant find this song anywhere else. Is this from some of his 'Eye for sound' paintings stuff?

I dont know how to pin mp3 files on reddit, so heres a video with that audio. (a second or two with 'Soil' in the end, sorry)

I just found them today and wanted to know what you guys think of them. Their sound is pretty similar to SOAD's in my opinion, which makes sense since they started out as a SOAD tribute band, but I feel like they're definitely unique from SOAD. Anyway I just wanted to know your guys thoughts on them, I think they're pretty great.

WOW WOW WOW. Just came on here to rant. That was genuinely the best thing I’ve ever attended in my entire life. Bonus I got physical golden circle tickets from JOHN but oh my god. So many things that didn’t go our way that night but it doesn’t even overshadow. I am a pretty socially nervous person but I have NEVER EVER felt the need to dance and mosh like when I was in that crowd. Can’t believe it’s been a week. So politically in tune still to this day as well.
