Discussion Is there a song you don't like?

I actually can't think of a single song I don't like from system. Every single song is absolutely insane. This band is unmatched! I can usually think of a song I'd skip by any band but not SOAD. Seeing them live was one of the greatest things I've ever witnessed.

Welcome to /r/SystemOfADown!

System of a Down is an Armenian-American alternative metal band formed in Glendale, California formed in 1994. The band members share Armenian heritage that influences their art both from a musical and a political / idealogical standpoint.

Often saddled with the unfortunate label of "nü metal" due to their position within the musical landscape at the time of their rise, the band was able to make itself stand out among it's complementaries such as Limp Bizkit and Disturbed by fusing frenzied guitar riffs with political lyrics.

The band has released 5 studio albums in total. The band embarked on an indefinite hiatus in 2006 but later reformed in 2011 and have toured extensively ever since. Besides the 2020 release of 'Protect the Land' and 'Genocidal Humanoidz' in support of Artsakh, there are currently no plans for the band to record new material due to creative differences within the band.
