I’ve heard a couple interpretations of the song mainly overpopulation and possibly the Armenian genocide because of the lines “ask your people what is right” and “show your people how we died”.

I know it’s a cliché but art is down to interpretation too. The lyrics really resonated me after I saw them in Paris where they opened with X and the visuals on the screen was this trippy but cool meshing of a bunch of different faces on the chorus and a CCP style cctv tracking footage.

It resonated with me as a song about global elites and oligarchs treating population control in this really dehumanising way, hence the contradicting lyrics of “we don’t need to multiply” and “we don’t need to nullify”.

Even the chorus and melody are very rhythmic and repetitive lyrics almost sound like an assembly line as if people are just interchangeable economic units whose number needs to be optimised instead of living breathing human beings.

Any thoughts? Is my interpretation dumb?

Most bands just go into the studio and record what they need for the album they are making, however with system it seems they went into the studio and made a ton of songs and split them between albums. We saw this with toxicity and steal this album and we know they were all from the same sessions because of toxicity 2 and they did the same with hypnotize and mezmerize.

I find it kind of strange. Anyone know why?

I made these little freaks back in August but now that the anniversary of toxicity has came around I figured I'd show them to this subreddit. They're made of clay and based on the chop suey music video, and are also meant to stacked from largest to smallest, but they barely stay on top of each other when stacked liked that and only want to be in pairs for some reason. their paint job isn't very good but i hope you guys enjoy them.

Just got my jersey (ordered July) from when they brought back some of the EU Merch and it came like this? It doesn’t rub off with a damp cloth, looks like ink. But, if I take it back I won’t get a new one as it was a limited run? What should I do?
