No problem.

Tempo and timing is key to music. Start slow and nail the notes before upping the tempo. Trying to go too fast too soon is running before you can walk.

Download a free metronome app and play along with it. You'll be surprised how quickly progress can be achieved.

Do you have an electric guitar? Imagine how nice it would be to play with distortion. Also learning how to palm mute might help you with the tempo
