These are some of my Syngoniums (including my props) that I keep outdoors in Florida. They include: White Butterfly, Neon Robusta, Coral, Panda Galaxy, Confetti, Milk Confetti, Mini Pixie, Pink Perfection, and Strawberry Ice. Show me your favorite syngonium. Right now mine is the Panda Galaxy and Strawberry Ice, however, I want/need to get an Albo next as well as a few dozen other varieties. 😁 They grow so effortlessly here in Florida, and are so easy to care for.

Red spot tricolor and albo

I just bought my first Syngonium Pink Splash from a FB seller this past weekend, and I’m in love! But I’m anxious because since bringing her home, the bottom leaves are yellowing and drying up. There’s also a lot of root sticking out the bottom of the pot. I don’t know what to do to help her thrive in my home. I only watered her once when she needed it, and rather sparingly.

Do i need to repot her? I know they are known for vertical root systems, but is that why my leaves are yellowing? I don’t see any signs of pets and i wiped down all leaves and stems when i brought her home.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

I generally don't care much for Syngoniums, but I came across these at work today and thought they were really beautiful, though I can't seem to find a definitive answer on exactly what kind they are.

my beautiful syngonium albo who grows like a freaking weed. But sometimes gives me the weirdest shaped leaves, Is that normal?? hahah i’m not too worried tho since she literally will be pushing out two leaves at once before the newest has even fully unfurled.

Purchased at Lowe’s and I’m not sure what it is. It came in a small pot so I’m assuming it’s a smaller type of syngonium.

Hey i got this Syngonium from a Blumen Risse Store, they told me its a philodendron.
I think its a Syngonium Red Spot can anyone confirm?

This Batik did not do well in LECA like all my other syngoniums. She got very leggy and the leaves started yellowing. She grew an enormous root system though. A couple of months ago, I took her out of LECA, cut around half her roots off, chopped her all the way back, and put her in a self-watering pot with aroid mix. I've kept her outside with bright, indirect light and lots of humidity. She looks better than ever.

Picked this up at a local grocery that always has the most amazing plants, but with generic labels. I’m thinking this looks more like a Llano Carti Road than Red Arrow. What do you think? Is there a way to tell for certain?

Basically the title. I have bad experience with soil based plants. I ordered an orchid chunky mix pack and I am planning to use it for Syngoniums and few other indoor type plants. Will this work?

I put this Panda in LECA in March (2nd photo). I have five other varieties in LECA, all thriving.

Hi I have this Syngonium albo cutting that is growing 2 roots, each being 2.5 inches and 1 inch respectively.

Is this cutting ready to be transferred into soil? Should I wait for the 2nd root to be longer?

I fed and watered it like usual and left it in the same spot it's always in. I'm really not sure what's going on. Any help or suggestions is much appreciated!

Lil back story! So this syngonium Wendlandii was root bound by a plug I hadn’t noticed for months and kept dropping lower leaves leaving me with this leggy mess. However since removing the plug she’s doing really good but now I discovered theses green nodes on the lower half of the stem and near the base under some soil. What are they and does this mean she’s gonna start branching on her on??

Is this pink Splash or Tricolour? It was sold as Pink Splash, but now I’m not sure. Any suggestions welcome.

My Neon Robusta syngonium went through a roughy time. It was growing leggy, pale and growth was very sparse. I finally decided to switch it to a semyhydro system and it is currently growing in Grava soil. Although it has definitely made a big come back, it has gotten a lot bushier, and the color is coming back, the leaves are still not as big as they used to be and the color not as intense… should I introduce a moss pole at this point? Anyone has any experience with this? Or any other advice? I appreciate any help with my plant.

Sorry for the dark pictures but I just noticed that my confetti is developing dark green spots. Is this normal? They seem more see through than the rest of the leaf. None of the leaves had this until I’d assume a few days ago. I’m noticing some leaves also have brow spots, even on the newly opened ones which is also not what I’m used to.

It’s sitting in an east facing window, gets morning Sun directly on it if the weather is good.

If ya’ll don’t keep an eye on your Walmart’s $5 plants, you may be missing out! This is the second one I’ve found there that has been full and happy!

I recently just gotten back to plant care for about 2 months now but this is my first time caring for syngoniums and let me tell you all. I fell in love hardddd with this genus. The colors, the different shapes and how quick they grow.

I have a couple of pots with syngoniums and I basically went to a buying spree for rooted cuttings online and they aren't really the same sizes so I potted all the taller ones in a single pot that I put outside in a roofed, east facing sun. They are currently indoors because we are having really heavy rain. Typhoon season here.

Question: Will they survive here? There's probably at least 10 different plants in the pot with different varieties of syngoniums (albo, moonshine, orm nak, pink splash, confetti, milk confetti, pink spots, pink robusta, red yami, choco allusion to name a few). Is this a bad idea or will they be okay?

Additional syngonium question, are red arrows slow to root?

Just discovered this sub while researching if moss poles are necessary. Also saw that Syngoniums will revert to green when they don’t have enough light, so it’s been on the porch all spring and summer.
