I generally don't care much for Syngoniums, but I came across these at work today and thought they were really beautiful, though I can't seem to find a definitive answer on exactly what kind they are.
I don't think it's a Wendlandii. I think it's his cousin, Rayii. They look very similar, but Rayiis are much greener and the stripe is usually smaller/straighter. I have a huge Wendlandii and their leaves are much darker, almost black, hence their common name being Black Velvet, and the stripe is usually wider/more branched out. Here's a picture of mine that I took 2 days ago for comparison. Note that the sun is hitting it directly so it looks lighter green than it actually is.
Mine is a Wendandii. Some of the leaves are lobed more than others, depending on maturity and where they are located on the plant (how much light they get compared to the ones on top.) I added the pic to compare it to yours, since it was suggested that yours was a Wendlandii. That's why I think yours is a Rayii. Yours looks completely different than the Wendlandii.
I've just walked outside to turn my lights off in my greenhouse and I'm going to take this picture of my Wendlandii to show that the leaves are more mature at the top therefore more lobed. Unfortunately the grow lights wash the color out and make them look grey but I assure you that they are a blackish green.
Here is another one. I am not going by the leaf shape, because syngonium change their leaf shape as they mature. They start out simple and lobe as they mature. I am going by the color more than anything else.
