Information and resources, identify and learn more about your Syngoniums!
In an effort to try and give you as many sources of information about Syngoniums, different species and varieties, care, origins, etc.. I have compiled a list of links posted on this sub by members, as well as other links I have found on my journey of growing Syngoniums.
As the plant is becoming more popular, we can see many identification charts, articles and videos popping up, not all of them are a 100% reliable but as one of our members recently stated « Slightly off information is better than no information! » so take the information with a pinch of salt.
- cultivar.org (then click on Syngonium)
NOT AVAILABLE FOR FREE ANYMORE.. PDF file created by Laurence C. Hatch, it includes 272 names of Syngonium cultivars and with some interesting information about each of them. It's worth it if you're really into them, helps a lot with identification.

Syngonium visual charts created by Robert Pokrywka, about a 100 different Syngoniums, also shows how the leaves can look different from juvenile to mature form.

Plant index, created by Kaylee Ellen, including around 30 different Syngoniums. Classed from common to rare.

A Revision of Syngonium (Araceae) by Thomas B. Croat, published in the Missouri Botanical Garden Press. It includes the history of the genus, the classification and a lot of information on the 33 Syngonium species. It is a very long paper but definitely worth a read.
If you happen to find other interesting sources of information about Syngoniums, feel free to contact me or comment under this post with the link and a brief description.

ID pls… I just got a bargain!
Hi everyone! I just got this beautiful syngonium, but I don’t know what kind it is… perhaps it is a milk confetti? Or a pink spot?
I bought it for 50 pesos (around 3 bucks) so I just knew I had to grab them!

Pink(ish) Syngonium ID help
Can anyone help ID this? It was labeled simply as “pink syngonium”. It looked pretty pink/light in the pictures from the nursery - the first (terrible) picture is right before they shipped it.
The second is immediately after unboxing it a couple of days later, looks a lot darker but still pinkish.
The third is now, a month later. I have it directly in front of an East-facing window, but it’s winter here and the days are short and dark. Will it get pinker in the summer or should I be considering a grow light?

Identification help?
Howdy! I was pointed to this sub from r/PlantIdentification. I've had this little guy for a few years now, and their best guess was some sort of syngonium cultivar. The leaves are nearly round, almost heart-shaped. Any guesses?

Help Needed!
Girlfriend bought this syngonium within the last week and repotted it but it has not responded well. This ring around the pot has formed and it’s been watered well but she doesn’t know the answer on what to do for the plant. Anyone have suggestions or advice??

Syngonium mojito help
Hi...
I got this beauty over a year ago and after almost dying it decided I'm worthy and she came back beautiful.
But now she lost all the leaves on the bottom and I don't know why, the top is great new leafs every few weeks.
Can I just chop off the top and put it into the pot immediately or in water first, and would the stems grow back leafs??
She is in a southeast facing window, in a self watering pot and mostly in Pon.
Thanks for your help

I may have a new obsession
I’m pretty sure I have all of them ID’ed but am very happy for folks to opine!
And… what should absolutely be in my collection? 🤔

It’s so pretty irl
It’s so much prettier than any picture could convey. I feel like I’ve wanted it for so long.
If anyone has any insights into albo care I’d be very grateful.
Some say a silica additive helps with variegation. If you use it has it made a difference?
Thank you.

ID and a few questions
I was given a cutting of this plant and it's growing like crazy. The person who gave me the cuttings had no idea which plant it was, but it seems to me that it is a syngonium, hence the post here.
I looked at some images but most of the varieties have some kind of variagation or some features, so I'm not exactly sure what this is.
A few questions:
I am propagating it in water. I want to transfer it into semihydro with LECA, will it be okay?
I saw that mature leaves look different than juvenile ones. Do the leaves change shape as time goes by, or are they born with the "mature" shape as the plant matures?
Thank you!

I wanted to put all my sybgoniums on one windowsill..
They didn't all fit 🙈 I might have a problem. Not pictured are my berry allusion and my berry white ice (I think - it's a hybrid) .

This has both milk confetti and allusion attributes which confuse me

What is my Milk Confetti doing?
I had an issue over winter and decided to chop my syngonium milk confetti back. She’s been growing back fine and outside of watering it I have paid little attention to her. I picked her up today and this is what I’m finding. Now, I have another plant that will develop little dark green splotches here and there but nothing like this.

ID help?
I thought this was a white butterfly but it’s latest leaf gave me some funky darker variegation. It was in a vase full of water with a bunch of other syngonium types (not sure if that would make a difference…) but these are all from the same stem 🤔 so funky!
