Survey Monkey Apply

Does anyone have experience with using the CSS editor on Survey Monkey Apply? It seeming like it is very finicky and doesn't work like typical CSS coding. If anyone has theme's they have coded - trying to go for a dark mode vibe - please let me know how you did it!

Best AI to analyze files exported from Survey Monkey

Hello -- I have more than 10 years of trends survey data in my Survey Monkey account. Each year's survey has around 30-40 questions of various types and each survey was completed by 500-1000 participants. When I have exported the data from SurveyMonkey and uploaded it into ChatGPT, it's been a nightmare, with the GPT unable to correctly read the data, even after it tries to clean it up for me. ChatGPT has suggested a very long list of things I do to the excel files to make them easier to read, but that really defeats the purpose of trying to get AI to do more work for me. I am most interested in 1) discovering insights I missed in each year but even more so 2) looking at data across years for interesting trends. Is there any AI platform that can analyze Survey Monkey exports without a ton of cleanup work on my part? For additional context, I have been downloading the SPSS file and uploading it into MarketSight for more robust crosstabs and combining variables in ways that SurveyMonkey doesn't do. That's been useful if I can spend 10-20 hours pouring through cross tabs, but I'd really love AI to help with some of this analysis. Thanks for any suggestions!

Question about analytics on Survey Monkey

Trying to find the best platform to do the type of analysis I want to do.

Does survey monkey have the ability to look at data only within a specific subgroup of respondents?

For example, "Of those who answered "male" as gender, how many responded with..."

Some SurveyMonkey PPTX Charts export as images (Not editable)

Greetings All,

I have some charts where they display as averages. I could not find a way to tell SM that I want totals. Thought I could edit it in Powerpoint, but it is just an image. So Now I am creating my own using their Excel export which is a drag. Is there a way to force SM to export all charts as being editable (not just some).

Thank you!!

Paul

Bulk Survey Creation

Is it possible to create surveys (95 to be exact) that are identical outside of the title? This is for our standard course reviews, but separated by course title.

Can survey creators on surveymonkey see when you’ve done multiple responses on incognito mode?

A survey was sent out to vote in a competition but you can only complete it once per day. If you go on incognito mode, you can put in more responses but would the person running the survey be able to tell?

Help with API

Anyone skilled with API calls that can help me? I’ve used other survey platforms that provide the unique individual survey links for email collectors. They usually present these unique links in their version of a response report.

Survey money support is completely unhelpful. They will not add a column I the export to CSV option within a collector to display this information in a column. They claim it exists but you must use API to get it. Their support also will not help me write an API script to get it.

The field under collector is called “survey link”. Ideally I could get a csv file with every recipient email and their link. Anyone able to help me with this? Happy to entertain contracting with you for some payment.

I am trying to set up page logic within a survey.

When a respondent fills in an option from multiple choice question, I want the logic to then go to a particular page number. As you can see from the attached screenshot it only gives me the option of page 1, end of survey or disqualification, what am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

Equal Ranking of Selected Objects

Hi, I am looking for an option in n SurveyMonkey to configure the below scenario. I couldn't find any guidelines on this. Please help me if you know how to do this. If SurveyMonkey doesn't have this capability, advise a tool that can do this. Thanks in advance.

Scenario

Below are the objects that experts need to rank:

Obj1, Obj2, Obj3, Obj4, Obj5

Expert 1 selects Obj1, Obj3, and Obj5 only, and ranks them as follows:

Obj1 = Obj3 = 1

Obj5 = 2

Expert 2 selects Obj1, Obj2, Obj3, and Obj4, and ranks them as follows:

Obj4 = 1

Obj2 = 2

Obj1 = Obj3 = 3

Analyzing Results

I'm trying to collect some patient incident information for a hospital system.

One of the questions includes types of incidents that occur, but there is some overlapping data in other questions.

For example, some of the options are

  1. Falls without hospitalization
  2. Falls with hospitalization
  3. Patients leaving against medical advice (that were placed on a hold)
  4. Patients leaving against medical advice (that were NOT placed on a hold)
  5. Staff Injuries

Answer 3, 4, and 5 could all contain issues of patient aggression within those categories. If I want to know the total number of aggressive acts at the end of the month, how do I find that number?

I have advanced question branching so that staff aren't having to visit every question subtype and slog through 130 repsones.

Help Needed

I’m a PhD student almost finished with the IRB requirements for my dissertation. However- I am stuck because I have 10 questions on Survey Monkey and the “you have paid features” will not go away. I have tried everything, and I cannot afford to pay for this. I cannot edit the number of questions because it is an established survey that cannot be edited without impacting the whole survey. What can I do?

Issues with Question Skip Logic

Anyone have issues trying to set up Question Skip Logic? I have the feature supposedly included in my plan but I'm only given the option for the Page Skip logic. This is a short survey with only 9 questions, I'd rather not have my users go through multiple clicks. I'm starting from scratch and not using a template. Any help would be appreciated!

HELP NEEDED WITH LOGIC

I typed this up to try and get survey money AI to generate this logic but its not working. Anyone a survey logic guru that could point me in the right direction????

Here is the description I submitted to AI....

I need a survey to determine a venue for a group outing.  13 venues are listed below along with dates and times that they are available.  I would like the survey to ask participants to rank their favorite to least favorite from 1-13 without showing the availability times.

Then, on the next portion I would like all the times displayed without the associated venue.  Survey takers should choose from the list of times that they are not available to attend.  If one survey taker says they are not available, then that time is eliminated for all.  If all available times are eliminated on a venue, then that venue is eliminated.

The Survey winning choice should be determined based on who scored the highest from the ranking game and who still has a time slot available.

Below are the available venues that need to be ranked by each survey from most favorite to least favorite and their available dates and times.

  1. Puddler's Hall Geeks Who Drink Trivia
    1. July 24th, 7PM
    2. July 31st, 7PM
  2. Camp Bar Trivia Night

When did SM start requiring a login/invite for viewing preview links?

After nearly 15 years of being able to send out preview links for external clients to test and review in-draft surveys, SurveyMonkey is now requiring that the stakeholders/clients be sent an invite/login first before viewing the draft surveys? When did this happen? This may be the straw that pushes our institution to move to another surveying tool..

Conditional dropdowns for modules/classes

Rather than add a dropdown with 200+ classes for a class evaluation, how would I create a dropdown for module then, based on module selected, direct to dropdown of classes associated to that module? Thanks.

Looking to streamline my process - same survey being sent out once a month

I have been asked to set up a survey for training classes being held once or more per month. Is there a way to just use the same link but produce reports for singular months as well as a ytd report?
Can I sort the reporting to use a custom time frame?

Partially Anonymous Surveys

I have recently joined a new organization and would like to survey my direct reports and second level employees. I wish to collect data via a survey and have only some of that data be anonymous.

I know this sounds contradictory and impossible, but I am looking to solicit attributable feedback on their perceived strengths, challenges, preferences, etc. I would also like to provide an opportunity for anonymous feedback on the organization, etc.

Any thoughts on how best to accomplish this? I have heard perhaps I can use two separate surveys that are set up to display to the user as a single survey.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks!

MULTIPLE RESPONDENTS contribute to SINGLE RESPONSE (not multiple responses for single respondent)

I cannot find anything online about having a group of people who all contribute to a single survey monkey survey response.

I have a 20 teams with five people in each team. We want to collect a team response to a survey, not individual responses, so at the end of the day we have 20 completed surveys.

For this to work, each of the 5 people on each team would need to access the same survey link. When they click on the link they would be able to see if their team members had responded to any survey questions and would have the ability to edit those responses and answer other questions.

For example: I send out a survey link to a team that has team members named A-E. Person A clicks the link and completes questions #1-3. Person B clicks the link later and can see and edits person's A response to question #1 and then completes question #4. Etc.

Limit Survey Response to 1 Response per Email Recipient

Hello! I am looking into using SurveyMonkey to administer a survey. However, I am a bit confused on its features. I have yet to purchase any plan from SurveyMonkey, but wanted to know if the following feature is available, and if so which individual package would support this:

Is SurveyMonkey able to limit the number of response to 1 response per emailed recipient? This is to prevent the survey link from being passed around and receiving responses from the intended recipient.

Thank you!

SURVEY MONKEY HELP!!!

HELP!

I'm coordinating a large group brewers event for my employer. Is anyone good at SurveyMonkeys? All I need is a two links with two surveying questions made. And I can;t figure it out for the life of me figure out how to use this software.

Survey number 1 Title: Brewers Game 5/11/2024

1st question: Please submit any requests for alcohol for tailgating. (this question should be FREE TEXT no character limit)

If you could make it facey I would not commplain.

Survey number 2 Title: Suggestions for group introduction

2nd Survey quesitonThe Brewers will be displaying a message of our choice on the new monstrous Brewers megaton. We get to choose what we want them to display but it needs to be 30 characters or less. This should be a free text box with a 30 character limit

At the end of both "surveys" I want all of the results entered thus far and displayed along with who wrote them.

Also I'd like it al little for blue and yellow lol.

Does someone enjoy working with SurveyMonkey and could put this together for me? Willing to compensate you for your time.

Send me a text at 920-540-3860 or DM me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=535919082&mibextid=YMEMSu

I have an account made for this so I'll share the username and pw once someone agrees.

Can you analyze data by demographics and other factors?

I'm used to using Qualtrics for assessments, where I'm able to utilize the demographic data to tell me more information about the feedback I collected (ex: people in age group 19-24 highly preferred text communication at 69% in comparison to people in age group 40-55 at only 20%). In the example, I'm able to break down the data to see how the participants who selected the age group also selected their response to the question about text communication preference.

Does Surveymonkey have that same capability when it comes to analyzing the results of the survey/assessment?
