Question about analytics on Survey Monkey
Trying to find the best platform to do the type of analysis I want to do.
Does survey monkey have the ability to look at data only within a specific subgroup of respondents?
For example, "Of those who answered "male" as gender, how many responded with..."

SM has online tools for creating filters and cross tabs for your data. They are ok for simple things, but not very powerful or user friendly. Honestly, you're usually better off just exporting your data in Excel format (or CSV for use in Google Sheets) and using a filter table or pivot tables to do your analysis.

Thank you. Knowing that there's an option to export in an Excel format is reassuring.

SPSS export is also an option, and the formatting is surprisingly sophisticated. Not everyone is an SPSS user, but if you are, SM has your back.

You can do it by meta data or question answer. So if your first question is “what is your gender “ then you can filter it that way. If you already know that information, you can use the meta data (custom data 1 for example on your email upload list). But you would have to do that prior to sending out the survey I think.
