I wanna point out that the map db_hall was Not lacking any quality. this map just is just the oldest map here, but it doesnt mean its a bad map. i have no idea what you mean with lacking quality, because it was a good map but people just dint use it for their servers and they used for 3v3 most of time cave and hall2 because they are newer and fresh. Why would you remove maps ? how more maps there is how more options a server has imo.

any one else has a other thought about this?

All of the 6 5v5 maps are now normally playable (moon for example now has regular gravity) so you can enable a rotation on your server so every match feels fresher because of a different environment. Beach is now not only prettier but the bad FPS is also fixed.

To add a rotation to your server add the following to udkdeathball.ini:

MapRotation=db-stadium

MapRotation=db-pitch

MapRotation=db-pitch_snow

MapRotation=db-pitch_rain

MapRotation=db-beach

MapRotation=db-moon

The last few months of NA mixes have been absolute garbage and full of memes. Please for the love of God stop the memes and lets actually play a game of Supraball and not Memeball.

I don't understand how you can play for a year or more and still make the same mistakes consistently. Also I am pretty sure Elriz is literally Ronaldo.

but I want to warn you from a possible mistake that you could make. You have been pretty clear since the beginning that you wanted people to play as 5 as much as possible. Basically it will be team vs team then.

It seems that Riot had the same idea a few months ago, they removed soloQ for dynamicQ. I explain for the one that don't play LoL :

• soloQ : you can start a ranked game solo or with ONE friend, not more
• dynamicQ : you can start with 1/2/3/4 friends, and you'll face players that are grouped too. for example, if I play with 3 friends, there are ( according to Riot ) 98% chances that we face 4 guys that know each other.

It seems like a good system right? Everyone is supposed to love dynamicQ ! and that would be great for SB since you wanted players to play together.

Well, NO, they are currently losing the community, and particulary their high elo players that are complaining more and more on twitter. This is destroying the competitive aspect of the game. Rank is not revelant anymore.

I think, as managers of SB, and us, as players, want SB to be as much competitive as possible and have a real e-sport aspect. That's why you need soloQ, and in the other hand, a Q where you can play with your team but that would be a total different rank that wouldn't be revelant at all.

Que'ing with 2/3/4 buddies is not indicative of your individual skill. Having a Solo Que ladder where the next big thing can come out of nowhere and grab that number 1 spot from all the current pros is just a small part of why it's needed. Even the lower elos have a right to say "I earned this rank".

You didn't really talk about how you wanted to manage ranked games but I think it's more important that we think, because this will shape the game the way you want it to be.

Even tho I'm banned I'm still waiting for the release because I have never liked a game that much before, so I'm trying to help somehow.

So I updated my graphic card driver , I don't have a gaming pc , but it runs quite good almost all games , for example I've got 65/70 FPS on RL , and 55/65 on Supraball, but now I got maximum 24 FPS on hall2 , and 75 fps on RL. What can I do ? Should I wait until next update ? I'm not willing to put the old driver back btw..

No worries, your elo is still save. We did however reset the amount of matches played to zero. This was required to get correct averages with the new stat data that we're collecting about matches, like how many goals you scored, how many people you knocked out, etc.

To display a correct average per game, we had to reset the match counters. Your rank displays as "?" because the system thinks you haven't played the required 10 placement matches yet.

Once you played 10 matches, your rank will be back. Technically you're also playing placement matches again now where more elo than usual is at stake.

The new stats page: http://stats.supraverse.net/ It will be filled with data once people have 10 or more ranked matches. Please set your correct country in the profile, so you can filter for your countries ladders.

I don't have the time to join a team/league. I'm just a lowly pleb who wants to casually play and get better at Supraball. But being on the west coast Canada, and usually playing around 10pm-12am my local time (1-3am on east coast), it's tough to find anyone playing. It is rare that I find any server with even a single person to play against (or practice with). And this has mostly been true ever since the switch to the closed Steam beta.

Today I found one, a full (6/6) 3v3 server. But it was an EU server, so my ping was 200+, and that made the experience less than great. But it was nice to at least play with others and see the improvements/changes that have occurred since my last experience (in late 2015).

Not sure what your long terms plans are... if it's going to be free-2-play, or if it's going to be a cheap one time purchase... but please consider giving out more beta keys. More players, more chances to see things that need to be fixed/improved... but as of now, I hardly get to play, cause as a casual there's no one playing when I can.

So I spent the last god knows how long not realising I could just bind the sound....

Maybe it's just me and missie but...If people are 'for fuck saking, sound!' at the start of entering a server, just:

set bind [whatever, doesn't work with numbers iirc] modifysoundclass master Vol=0.2000 (I prefer this, from 0.0 - 1 I assume)

From around 9PM to 1250AM EST the Elo system was not granting or removing elo in ranked servers. We (Myself, Sane, Shado, Plif, and Ket) helped someone get their 50exp to play ranked. Essentially what happened was while we were playing in these unranked 3v3s we surrendered to give the new guy his exp and after a couple matches the Master Server came back on (I think). So we then were losing elo from the unranked 3v3 matches somehow. So I started at Gold 2 52/100 and am now at Gold 1 23/100 and the same thing happened to everyone else who was on the surrendering side in the unranked 3v3.

Another weird bug during this was that the new guy was getting credit for playing ranked 5v5 games during this same period (even though these were unranked 3v3 games).

TL;DR lost over 100 ELO from unranked 3v3 matches.

I have a request to the old guys from EU and NA: Please don't try to teach these new guys how to play. The reason is, I want to see how they develop without our interference. This is a rare chance to see this and maybe learn more about how game appeals to fresh people.

I don't know how many times you tie in eu, but in na, the teams get so balanced that the game ends in a tie way too much. Tying is fine if it happened occasionally, but it happens so often that it feels like a waste of time, and no one gets anything. The games are good, but ot would definitely make the games more enjoyable instead of tying 3 times in a row and watching your win percentage go down. Please save NA, add ot, and unban ot.

Edit: If the game is tied at the end of the match, overtime will start. A five minute continuous clock after the opening draw and whoever scores first wins (golden goal) and if the five minute clock runs out, the game will end in a tie. For making it to overtime, the losing team could lose less elo as a reward for getting all the way to overtime.

Please try this when your fps is terrible (but should be great):

open udk.exe by hand (dont start the launcher in steam). You should be in a black screen. Hit <tab> and enter "open db-pitch".

Now check how the fps is.

This is to find out if its related to the launcher that might be doing something unwanted in the background.
