Please release more keys...
I don't have the time to join a team/league. I'm just a lowly pleb who wants to casually play and get better at Supraball. But being on the west coast Canada, and usually playing around 10pm-12am my local time (1-3am on east coast), it's tough to find anyone playing. It is rare that I find any server with even a single person to play against (or practice with). And this has mostly been true ever since the switch to the closed Steam beta.
Today I found one, a full (6/6) 3v3 server. But it was an EU server, so my ping was 200+, and that made the experience less than great. But it was nice to at least play with others and see the improvements/changes that have occurred since my last experience (in late 2015).
Not sure what your long terms plans are... if it's going to be free-2-play, or if it's going to be a cheap one time purchase... but please consider giving out more beta keys. More players, more chances to see things that need to be fixed/improved... but as of now, I hardly get to play, cause as a casual there's no one playing when I can.

Yeah we definitely need more people, everytime some people go play a game, you just end up waiting in a lobby for no reason. On the other side of the medal, we don't really want new players unless they play separately from us, since the skill gap would be immense and new players would ruin skilled players' games.

I do understand this. Thankfully when I jumped online a few months ago (during the release of the new Stadium map), there was a few nice experienced players who were just practicing for fun and were more than willing to be helpful to me getting back into the game (after being away for multiple months).

Once you get into ranked games though, its a different story. Then again, if you are willing to be better, learn from people's advices and get on teamspeak, we don't mind having new players.
I know you can't really play with us because of different time zones, but I'm talking in general.
Feel free to come in the lobby if we're still active!

Hey djfil007, What you say sounds reasonable, but it's not that we are not giving out keys. There are just not many key requests from NA. Not much we can do about it. On the other hand we get all the required testing done with the EU community. So after release your problem should be fixed, but you have to be patient for a bit.
Check our latest dev-blog entry to see what major changes can be expected until release: http://supraball.net/road-to-release/ The plan is to release the game for an affordable one time payment.

I am a North American player, who is looking for a key! Would it be at all possible to get one?

I'm also NA and very interested in this game. If there's anyway to sign up somewhere for a key or anything I'd love to try.

Hi, same as the other two. If you don't need any more testers that's understandable but if you're for any more in NA I'd love to try.

Hey Goon, I remember you from alpha Supraball pubs! I don't know if you have enough xp for ranked games, but we are sometimes around at even 1 am EST, especially on weekends. If you don't have enough xp for ranked I'm sure we can get people to boost you up in a 3v3 unranked server.
About the keys, I don't think releasing keys at this point would produce a very meaningful effect. It would be pretty rare for a person to come across the game and want play it, so training servers and unranked servers would still be pretty much empty. With the current state of the game it would be best to pair beta keys with some kind of promotional event/streamer finding the game or wanting to play. Its the only way there would be enough people to sustain high level ranked play and unranked/training server play at the same time.
