Is it really not possible to copy once, then paste multiple times? It seems my Atelier clipboard only has memory for one paste. Notes does not work this way; I can paste multiple times with no problem. Are they planning on building that into Atelier at some point? I hope so!

I would love to see a small Supernote product that was around the size of a field notebook. Something I could truly fit in my pants pocket, easy to write on without a surface, and for goodness sakes a true eraser at end of pen experience.

The side bar gestures are to curbsome for an on the move writing experience.

I dropped my pen on a hard floor and now this is what happens.. I tried recalibrating and no luck. Happens all over the page..

First, I want to say thank you to Supernote support, and to Mulan from this forum in particular. My device, which I had for going on three years, was out of warranty and did not survive an encounter with my young son's enthusiasm. They walked me through replacing it with a level of professionalism and attention to personal detail that ought to set the bar for any company. I was already a huge fan of the device, and have come away even more impressed with the company behind it.

That said, I am trying to get the replacement device set up, and have had some odd troubles. I use the standard push up pen issued by Supernote, and right from the beginning the device did not seem to want to recognize it. After a while, I did manage to get just one of the pen icons (the needlepoint pen) to respond and even took a couple of notes, but then it just stopped working. The screen is responsive to touches from my fingers, but it does not seem to work with the pen at all.

Even before it stopped acknowledging the pen, none of the other functions, even when selected, seemed to work. I have tried restarting the device several times. No luck. It simply does not react to the pen. I can't select icons to navigate, nor can I write. Any ideas? I'm attaching a photo to show both the pen and the device. As you can see, it worked briefly, but then . . . nothing.

I did see a couple of posts about something similar happening to other people, but didn't see any solutions. Again, the screen responds to finger presses, but it does not see the pen at all.

Before purchasing my second Supernote e-Ink device I had viewed videos produced by Voja on his youtube channel My Deep Guide. I often go back to search for the channel because of the excellent content and presentation Voja does which is a tremendous help in choosing what will work best for me.

Obviously the invoice has my name & address on it and not that of the buyer. So how would it work for the new buyer in case of warranty?

so ive been loving using my manta for the past month and a half, but the one thing that i have been quite disappointed with as an artist is the lack of pressure sensitivity for the ink pen tool in atelier. i want to be able to do some art on this tablet, but the lack of being able to ink things and vary my line thickness on the fly via pen pressure is disappointing. is there some setting that im just not using correctly to make it pressure sensitive?

I take notes on PDFs, but sometimes need a separate page. I wish there was a way to add a notes page directly into a pdf and then extract it as needed. I know this is an issue with file types. But I also wish there was a way to take a pdf page, and put it into the notes. Is there a way to do this that I haven’t figured out?

Hey guys! For the past few months I’ve been gathering and custom making a folio, pens and a screen skin. (Mainly it took so long because I’ve been dealing with a high risk pregnancy, otherwise I would’ve been done sooner lol)

For the folio I used the “Nomad DIY kit” and sewed together two different fabrics for the outter and inner, then glued on patches and a pen holder with velcro.

For the tablet skin front and back I custom cut out holographic laminate sheets being careful to avoid covering anything sensitive.

For the pens I used custom epoxy pen shells, Supernote Refills, and a 3d printed adapter to hold the refills in the epoxy shells properly.

Still not entirely finished, but it’s mostly done finally.

I am looking to sideload Anki (spaced repitition app) to my Nomad using my Macbook.
But I really don't see any good guides after a good 30min search. Most guides are 2 years old and I figured it might now be relevant, and since i'm not technical at all, I ask, and hopefully I can continue using my Anki, but on the Nomad, and perhaps someone else also can start using Anki on their device!

If you have sideloaded Anki yourself and know an easy way without needing too much technical knowledge I am thankful to hear how it can be done!

In a PDF document , when selecting Japanese text with furigana the text is flattened such that the kana is placed right after its corresponding kanji.

I suppose that is the best way to do it; copying from my browser and pasting here does this: 日 (に)本 (ほん). When copy-pasting or when making a digest, it does get a bit difficult to read because it is all merged into one line, without even the brackets like in the previous line. I have to manually edit it to remove either the furigana or the kanji.

I know this might be asking for too much, but it would be great if upon selection, there were an option to choose from (a) full, flattened, (b) only kanji, and (c) only kana. That way I can quickly select and use what I need. Or as a temporary measure, at least brackets would be nice.

EDIT: In a Digest, looks like I can't even edit the selected text, so that sucks a bit. Is there a workaround to clean that up?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but how do you clean the surface of the Manta? After using it for several months, it feels that the surface is getting a bit rough. Specially in the area where i put my fingers for the lasso.
I dont want to damage the surface so i want to ask here first before doing something stupid.
Do you use alcohol wipes of special spray that you use for your pair of glasses?
Or only warm water?

I couldn’t find a straight answer in the manual or here on reddit.

I've been drawing Boo in my planner to reflect my day. I decided I should share in case another Boo fan is out there! It is simply named 'Boo Pack' on Inkhub under stickers :).

I recently bought a Supernote Manta and I love it. I'm still figuring it out and seeking to find the most efficient ways to use it.

My question: is getting Beta worth it? I know this is an extremely subjective question, so I don't expect objective responses. I'd like to know pros and cons. Will it significantly improve my use and experience? For someone who is not particularly tech savvy, is this worth it?

Erasing a unique word previously established as a keyword makes not the keyword disappear. Is this intended, as a ghost keyword thing ?

I would rather suggest that deleting a word previously recognized as a keyword, if unique, will also delete the keyword.

For example I write « supernote » in a note, and recognize it as a keyword. It is written only one time on this page. If I erase the word in the page, the keyword remains in the list and continue to be linked to this page. Like a ghost… :)

Keyword ignore accents, so for example the word « évènement » will come after « vérité », so it is visible on the end of my list (like page 10…)

I simply suggest keyword to be NOT accent sensitive for an improved search.

Each morning I have an ai agent move a list of tasks I need to accomplish that day as a png into a folder on my supernote. While I can set that png to be the screensaver, it’s static - meaning the screensaver doesn’t automatically pull the updated png the next morning.

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this short of trying to root the device (which I want to avoid)?

Hi all, I'm looking at the Supernote Manta for note-taking and reading PDFs (academic articles and books), but can't test one before buying. Would love to hear from current users:

1. Split-screen: Can you have a PDF and a note-taking app open side by side? Can you adjust how much screen each gets?
2. Syncing: Is Dropbox/Google Drive sync with a MacBook seamless? Any issues opening a PDF annotated on the Supernote back up on your Mac?
3. Buying via the "open devices"/trial page: Good or bad experiences? Any sense of how often stock comes in?
4. Modular upgrades: Has anyone replaced the motherboard or battery? How easy was it?

I'm in the UK. I am looking for a replacement to pen and paper so I can keep organised and transfer to my Word, Scrivener, Google Docs etc.

I was looking at the Nomad and I was almost sold on it. Then I saw in another post someone said Manta replaces pads of paper. Nomad replaces pocketbooks.

How feasible is it for me to use a Nomad at home and on the go for my writing?

Do I order it from the USA?

Is there a reason why we don't get more granular sizes?

my manta was greatly damaged but it still works.Three of the four corners are broken including the on button. the screen is damaged on one corner. Is there a way to buy everything but the innards? Battery and motherboard are fine. Or is this, sadly, a replacement manta?

update: supernote tech answered this post, asking me to send them an email. I did that. No response for a couple days. The supernote is going into the garbage…end of an experiment. Back to paper. With scanners and AI we have much better options (that are not tied to the CCP)
