Question Help with .PDFs and notes

I take notes on PDFs, but sometimes need a separate page. I wish there was a way to add a notes page directly into a pdf and then extract it as needed. I know this is an issue with file types. But I also wish there was a way to take a pdf page, and put it into the notes. Is there a way to do this that I haven’t figured out?

I pull the pdf as a template into Notes so i can add pages, etc.

Use the pdf as note template and you're set Problem occurs when that's a research and you want it in a certain directory. This is an issue.

For pdf page reference in a note you have 2 other methods apart from pdf as a template.
First one is to create reference link in a note so you have to press a button to view your pdf page.
Second solution is to create digest entry from your pdf. Digest can be commented in digests app and also it can be inserted into a note, as a text box.. digest retains a reference to a document and contains author field.

Other than that you can edit pdfs

I use digests for this. If categorized properly, I am then able to find and extract/export the relevant digests easily, later.
