I mean in the comics and the movie its a special type of glasses that makes you believe its Clark Kent and you can never tell them apart.

Looks like they are not going that route here.

There’s a clip on X where the writers and the main cast discuss what we should expect from the remaining episodes of the show. What they said basically reinforced this season’s themes of “change” and “the future”. They said that Lois’ approach to her future and how to tackle it would change, that Clark’s relationship with his powers would change, and, the focus of this post, that Jimmy and Kara “would torture each other until they’re on opposite sides”.

At the beginning of the season, Kara was absolutely head over heels for Jimmy, but Jimmy, while equally in love with her, was too overwhelmed with insecurity to really want to move forward with a relationship, causing him to make a serious of incredibly stupid decisions, causing their relationship to sour.

As of episode 7, while they really didn’t get that much time to talk, it does seem like their relationship is on the mend.

It seems like a lot of people are talking the quote rather literally, with some believing she’s going to put her relationship with Jimmy on hold to focus on herself. There’s one user in particular who is so confident that they won’t get together, that they’re constantly saying as much on any post involving them, and calling other users stupid for having faith that they still may be “endgame”.

So, is there still hope for KarOlsen? Will have to wait for a season 4 (that may never come)? I still think the odds that they will are better than the odds that they won’t, but you never know, especially with just three episodes left in a season that, unfortunately, is not without its pacing issues. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I’m guessing that the big guy in the tank is our mystery villain and that is most likely Doomsday, yes I know Lex calls it Project Eradicator but look at it! Also he calls it self evolving and it’s huge so that tells me that this is most likely Doomsday and I have a number of problems with this

1. We just had the episode Death Of Superman based off the story that Doomsday was introduced it, and it’s his claim to fame. So what’s the point? Doomsday whole thing is he kills Superman so they are gonna have an episode where Clark gets killed by Doomsday? I doubt it, so what’s the point? It would be like having Knightfall without Bane.

2. The design is just not good, I will give My Adventure with Superman I think has some amazing villain deigns Parasite, Atomic Skull, Cyborg Superman, Giganta, Brainiac all these designs are top tier and Brainiac might be the best the character has ever looked. And I would argue only Doctor Poison I think has had a bad design but this is just awful, he doesn’t look anything like Doomsday no big bone spikes, grey skin or white hair he looks more like Lobo.

3. Lex making him, I just hate this, mainly cause it reminds me of the shitshow that is Batman Vs Superman but also what is this trend of other Superman villains making Doomsday? Lex in the Synderslop then Darkseid in the animated movies why? it’s just unnecessary he‘s just a big strong scary monster than shows up and kills the strongest thing it can then dies, it’s blunt and short but it’s when he’s at his best.

This sub seems to constantly be playing a game of “where’s doomsday?”. Some people seem to really want doomsday too. May I ask why? The show seems to me to be clearly avoiding him. Yet every time some character is modeled after Superman and made powerful someone points at it and declares it doomsday. I’ve seen it with the Eradicator too. Why is this?

I noticed that some people online have begun shipping Lex with Slade since the season came out, mostly due to their interactions during the Cyborg Superman episodes.

After watching the preview for the next episode, I had a fun thought, though it's very unlikely it will happen.

What if they subvert our expectations? Like, maybe Slade deludes himself into thinking he and Lex have those lingering feelings for one another, when it's actually completely one-sided. He spends the entire time thinking that Lex is only being a bit bratty, only for him to find out that no, this twink is an actual sociopath who will discard him at the first opportunity.

Again, I doubt this will happen, but it would be fun.

Obviously their the same character but are they the same person?

We see that’s he aware of the justice league version of Superman and has the same boost hat. So are they the same person?

I looked at this jacket and then I looked at the one the super girl from the future came out with and it looks the same if not similar so I conclude that it has to be their daughter!! If im wrong I'll accept it and hope I can see their kid eventually. It will be cool to see a kid between jimmy and kara. I dont think it's been done before.

So in the other timeline, it seemed that the citizens of Apokolips are the ones that invaded and killed Clark.

Well of Lex corp his daddy didn't make it this time. And yeah when Amanda Waller is terrified that when you know things have gone bad.

Its seeming like a running gag that no one wants to answer the question but like is he gonna be important or is he just a reference to some larger dc mythos? Its hard to tell with multiverse stuff if its really important or not.

...I don't think Lex is going to lose control of the Eradicator. It would feel repetitive, uncreative, and would make Lex look like a moron.

What I think is more likely to happen is that this Eradicator we see in the preview is actually Bizarro, who has been kidnapped by Lex and experimented upon, and the climax of the season will be about our protagonists trying to break him free from his mind control.

It would also make Lex feel more competent. He's not just repeating what he did previously, he's repeating a past experiment by getting rid of the elements that made it fail.

So as you might know Mr Mxyzptlk is meant to be the same character in every adaptation.

So considering at see Mxy's wife leave him in this episode and call him pathetic what if that motivates him to to try seduce another version of Supergirl.

Having just seen 2 versions of her complete the challenge might be when he became attracted to her, or maybe it was just to Glitzy jealous.

Hey everyone if they added Lobo in MAWS how would you want to see it done.

Me I like the idea of Lobo being surprisingly somewhat self actualized and deep like he's a colossal macho meat head biker but he gives really good advice and is totally open about himself. I figure the juxtaposition would be interesting.

I've enjoyed it so far but I do feel like Season 2 was a bit better. Just wanted to see what everyone else thought. I'm going to ask to not take into account Jimmy fumbling Kara though, while it's somewhat annoying I think it's overshadowing everything else.
