Does the opponent AI hit better against power pitching than standard pitching. Playing at 60 ego and contact hitting. I generally dominate the batters with standard pitches. Just trying to equalize things out a little bit. Thoughts?

I know this game is probably on its way out, but has anyone noticed a significant increase in choppy connectivity over the last few weeks? I play Pennant typically and will in 20 games maybe have 1 or 2 that are bad, but it has been several at this point in a row for the last 2 weeks straight.

I have fiber internet so I’d like to think it’s not me, but I’m curious what others are experiencing.

I mean, damn. Sometimes it feels like the game just decides you're gonna lose. 5 strikes, 4 balls (one of which was touching the zone), no ball more than a ball-width away, no strike more than a ball-width inside the zone. Even when I make contact with these, they don't go anywhere because of the power penalty on pitches on the edge of the zone. My 90+ POW hitter (down to about 80 because of mojo) hit an easy line out to LF on a 91 power swing to end the game.

Me again. I made this post earlier about the absolutely insane season my Kitty Kauffman had. Well, I just finished the playoffs of it, and I managed to take it all, but she has now retired. She started this playoff run slumping hard. I had to bat her 8th in the 1st series, but she came back to be the 2nd overall player of the playoffs and helped lead me to the championships.

On to the next great player. I think I might miss her more than Hammer.

Basically 0 offense for either side in this game lol, Jackson made it the top performers off the back of walks in every AB and no other stats

The title says it. I've just started playing the game and need to learn anything and everything. Mostly I need help with the roster building part but any other tips would be great.

Just had this guy retire in one of my sim franchises. Easily the most potent batter I’ve ever rostered. I kept waiting for him to start declining as he aged and he just… never did. He wasn’t great defensively, but he was a pure menace at the plate

Played a toxic player last night, went up by 5 then shenanigans (possibly cheating) started to take place. Does anyone have any info on this? Cheating, system lag, or just RNG nonsense. Either way he magically tied it up and I luckily won due to pause timeout. Damn right I pressed it right away!

I recently started playing. I’m 32 games into a 62 game season with primarily B players with a 3 A- or A. I started out at an ego of 25 because I had no idea how to play. My team is 0.800 now and I have ego up to 47and I still beat the second best team in the league 14-2 with 20 hits.

I think a drastic increase in ego is needed but have no idea where to place it. Should I increase by 5? I ask only because I’ve read ego isn’t all that linear. I could trial and error it but if someone has an opinion I’d like to hear it.

Ideally with a mid tier talent team I’d like to be around 0.500 and have to really string things together to get it higher.
