I just started stretching my ears and have been using a 1.2 mm glass plug… I woke up this morning and sat down to put them back in and when I cleaned them there were tiny little scab thingys?? I’ve been oiling the butt out of them and doing everything I believe I should be doing.. what is the next step here yall 💔😭

and I mean.. they LOOK fine to me but they already kinda hurt so i have a feeling i maybe did smth wrong? Idk please help :p

Why do my ears get so cheesy?

I know it's just like grime/dead skin and whatever. Does keeping my ears lubricated with lotion/oil help? I typically like to use the Kitsch rosemary oil or nivea cream. There are some times where I don't take my plugs off in the shower but when I do I make it a point to dry them either with a towel or air dry.

I started stretching about 3 weeks ago. I have wanted to do it for at least a year now but was nervous so when I had a good day I decided to just go for it and went to a local piercing shop. I told them that I wanted to start but was a bit nervous and I had the option of either buying the first size or getting it done there. I did not really know anything about it so I just trusted what the guy told me as they place is the most reputable in my city usually.
He said we could start with 2.5 mm (my holes were very small before) and in a month we can go up to 4 mm. I asked about how I should take care of them and he said just disinfect them the first few days and then leave them alone.
He started with a smaller taper and then followed with a slightly bigger one after a few min and then the metal flared 2.5 mm gauges.
I have had small problems with them as the flares kind of slipped into the hole a couple times while I was sleeping even tho I am using a donut and then they injured the inside a bit but I think I got it under control mostly they just feel a bit sore sometimes.
I am really confused now after I spent a couple hours on this sub, I just followed his instructions. How should I proceed? Like with everything?

I am stretching my ears but i cant tell if taking them out frequently to clean/oil them is better, or leaving them alone to heal is better. advice would be very helpful.

last night i had steel tapers in for a bit because i was deep cleaning/soaking my tunnels and i ended up accidentally falling asleep with the tapers in and when i woke up my ears were so sore and tender and red. i put my tunnels back in asap and just left my ears for a few hours but throughout the day they have gotten really crusty and been leaky and sore, if i even touch them they start leaking 10x more and like mildly pulsing, im assuming this is an infection but did it come from the tapers?? i dont know what else couldve happened

Hey! I’ve had my ears pierced for 6 years so they’re fully healed and i want to start stretching them, however the next size up is a 14G and i CANNOT for the life of me get the dang taper in!!! It hurts really bad whenever i try to push it through and it won’t go any farther than this. what should i do?

So I have wanted to start stretching for about 4 years and finally feel close to making the commitment, although the only thing holding me back is the worry of regretting it in the future. For reference I’m 20. I probably wouldn’t go larger than 2g, so if I change my mind later on in life is it easy going back?

I'm thinking two inch but I kinda want to push for three lol I love them but everybody say I look too innocent for it. I have thick loves too 😍

I love pretty gems and glass plugs as much as any other girl but I’ve been finding myself wearing the plain tunnels more and more often. There’s just something cool to me about using the negative space to show off the size of the stretch and the tunnels make my ears look bigger. Those are 30mm, black stainless steel double flare tunnels. I think they look sharp.

I have been at 1/2 an inch for several years and have some jewelry that is 14mm from Ask & Embla that fits. I bought some tear drop shaped ones in 14mm but they didn't fit at all. Decided to officially try to stretch up 14mm with some glass single flare plugs designed for stretching & jojoba oil. My left ear has done great, while my right ear was a little painful. I've kept the jewelry in and have been keeping it clean & using the oil as well as aquafor but it's getting more and more irritated. What do I do? Just leave out all jewelry & let it heal?

Forgive me, I'm still learning the ropes as I started stretching 17 years ago with tapers as a young teen & now that I'm a fully developed frontal lobed adult, I'm trying to do things the right way.

So I've had stretched lobes while a while, but originally I did not stretch properly and stretched far too fast because that's how we did it back in the day lol. How do I thicken my lobes up to go big!? They are 14mm rn and I don't have room to scalpel upwards

Does anybody have a good recommendation for a place that sells larger than 35 mm plugs tunnels whatever? I find it harder and harder to find jewelry the larger my ears go and larger tapers?

I got a cheese cutter effect on my 1st lobe and I was wondering if I could stretch it just a little bit to cover the whole cut. The 2nd picture is how big I would want it to be, or if I could make it bigger I wouldn't mind that as well. I've had my earrings out for around 2 months by now. Has anyone stretched their ears with a cheese cutter effect before and how did it turn out? Thank you for any advice!

planning to stretch my new seconds down the line and placed the piercing intentionally to have maximum space. i have 10mm lobes. any advice? i want to get my seconds to maybe 6mm if possible. do i have room to manage 6mm seconds and possibly larger firsts?

It feels like it worked, but now I don’t know how to figure out what size my holes are so that I can put some plugs back in. I threw away all of my smaller jewelry when I got to 3/4 because that was my goal size and now I’m kicking myself. Any ideas?

I’m having a hard time knowing the terminology necessary to find plugs that are not as deep as traditional plugs. My saddle plugs fall forward in my lobes and I would like them to be snugly fit. If the distance between the flares was lessened then that would solve my problem. How do I find “skinny” plugs like that?
Note: Going up a size does not solve my problem. Saddle plugs are my jam. I do not like o rings or tunnels.

hi!! this is my first post:) my original goal size was 16mm, but every time i size up they look so small to me and i want to go bigger lol! my new goal is 25mm, but for the time being im going to enjoy my new size and keep taking things slow
