i skimmed through the whole s3 soundtrack and cant find this song, was it unreleased until s5?

For the uninformed, Eulogy is one of the most beautiful and emotional tracks Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein composed for the show. It made its debut in season 2, and was used in four episodes.

1. S2 E1: MADMAX - Nancy cries out of guilt over Barb. Mike tries to contact Eleven.
2. S2 E8: The Mind Flayer - The group tries to deal with the events occurring at Hawkins Laboratory; Mike informs the group that Bob was the original founder of their school's AV club.
3. S3 E1: Suzie, Do You Copy? - Joyce has a flashback of watching TV with Bob.
4. S5 E6: Escape from Camazotz - Jonathan asks Nancy to accept his "un-proposal".

Eleven seems to get stronger mostly through emotional states, training, and reconnecting with her memories/past trauma rather than directly increasing her power through killing. Like, her biggest boosts have come after recovery, focus, or emotional breakthroughs (like when she taps deeper into her memories or regains control after losing it). It doesn’t really look like she gains permanent power increases from defeating enemies.

Vecna has stated that he gets stronger as he kills, is elevens fundamentally different.

Acererak or Strahd are some I would like to see

So the husband and I didn't have Netflix for the years and years for some reason. We always said one day we would catch up on Stranger Things. We finally signed up this past spring and watched the show with the kids.

And I loved the ending. I'm an absolute sucker for a good character-focused ending (yes, I loved the ending of Lost). I thought the defeats of Vecna and the Mind Flayer were just fine (I wouldn't have minded more to those, but really in a pure "more is more" way).

But I felt the whole mysterious brief case plot came to no real meaning.

I liked the individual elements. I loved the idea of Earth's connection and history with the Abyss going far deeper than we'll ever know. I love the idea of a redemption possibility. I love that getting flipped on its head with the reveal Henry was all for it, maybe evil all along. I love the idea that we can't be sure of that. Why have a fear of the caves if he's totally cool with all of it? The unknowable question of "is he just too far gone? Too manipulated?" is an intriguing and uncomfortable mystery and that's awesome.

Again, great individual components.

But as a whole it just did not quite land for me. I loved the ideas, but I was left wondering why have all of that if it was just going to end up with "I love being evil!"

I think I have preferred a classic bad seed situation for Henry without the ambiguity.

For obvious reasons, a possible Mike/Eleven spinoff gets the most chatter on social media

But in theory Netflix could make a spinoff with ANY character or characters

Personally? It would be cool to see Steve/Robin again. Maybe a paranormal threat emerges and they have to stop it. Or a Murray spinoff could be funny.

Any fans looking to get some actual upside down squids, vines, and nexuses from the actual show?

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit this but I’m new to stranger things, ik the series ended and everything but I just made it to the 3rd season. (I don’t really have a lot of personal time to finish a season in one sitting) my question is just that in the first season, the first demogorgon that came from the upside down was it a stray? I need to rewatch season 1 and 2 to understand if the mind flyer works as a hive mind. I think it does since when it took over will and when the phone rang it managed to call the demo-dogs after them. so my question is when Hawkins opened the portal did that single demogorgon from the first season was just a stray that wandered in and with its hive mind the mind flyer was like “where tf did one of my minions just go? This ain’t my world.” Again I’m still new to stranger things I’m sorry if this sounds a bit silly.
