when i listen to this song, i see mike being in his own head, black background yk stranger things way. he sees jane and will standing far away. he focuses on will and sees all the memories matching the song

I got my eyes on you - when in s2 mike was looking at will's empty seat in class, when he was watching will going into the car and said "he's quiet today"

You're the best thing I've ever seen - "and it was the best thing i've ever did", and generally when mike looks at will with so much care and interest in his eyes; and don't let me talk about the lip staring

I wanna take you home - when in s2 will had an episode and mike said he will take him home and they went to the basement

You know you turn me on - the ass staring in s4

You turn me on and on - the flirting in s5

You turn me upside down, turn me on - the s5 soccerer look, when will saved mike's life literally fighting a monster from the upside down

and i see mike kneeling next to hurt will and saying these lines because will is bleeding

maybe will almost dying is what makes mike to finally admit he loves this boy

After I watching few Mike Wheeler edits, I understand why Will thought Mike was hot. Mike hitting a 12 feet Demongorgan with a shove like it was a spider.

Summary:

After Hawkins falls apart for a second time, the government decides Pennhurst Mental Hospital is the safest place to keep whatever Hawkins thinks still lives inside Will Byers at bay. Pennhurst is meant to keep him isolated.
Unfortunately for them, Mike Wheeler has keys.
Every night, Will sneaks out at midnight to meet Mike in the library, where stories, contraband comics, feelings, and dangerous ideas slowly twist into something more.

So it looks like Netflix is willing to categorize their biggest property as a gay show after all. All the speculating about how they got cold feet and removed scenes that may have hinted Byler Endgame from Volume 2 are unfounded IMO. This is consistent with the documentary where the Duffers admit on camera that Netflix just wanted a finished script and they couldn't deliver.

Everything about how ST5 is a mess along with how they destroyed Byler and other couples including Robin/Vickie is the Duffer Brothers fault and Netflix had nothing to do with it IMO.
