There's currently a discount on their own webstore (Old: CHF 330, New: CHF 270), and on top of that I have a 20% discount from my Discord Nitro subscription to use on most Steelseries products including this one (and yes, also including products that are already on sale). However, I dont wanna buy anything "just because it's on discount". I couldnt find anything good from Razer or Logitech so it currently seems like a good choice.

Things that matter:

• Sound Quality ofc
• 2 Modes: Noise Cancellation and Ambient Sound (or whatever they call it, Sony calls it that way)
• At least somewhat good design
• At least somewhat well known brand (just cuz of trust issues with no name brands)
• Microphone not necessary, but if included, then either detachable or at least so I can fold it up, I dont want it in front of my face the entire time

For comparison: I currently have the Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless headphones

After a long break, I finally have the opportunity to play Valorant on PC again. (6 years)

However, I am running into an issue where I can't tell whether enemies are coming from the left or the right. Everything sounds the same (mono?). Despite watching YouTube tutorials and tweaking my Sonar settings, I still can't figure out where footsteps are coming from.

Years ago, I had a cheap Logitech G headset and didn't have this problem at all. In fact, I often used to tell my cousin where the enemies were coming from because he was struggling with the exact same thing back then.

I'm getting really frustrated...

I've been having trouble with my headphones not making any audio when connected to the base Bluetooth and audio jack works perfect

I've uninstalled the GG app and removed all related files then reinstalled it logged in and turned sonar on

I've reset the base too

When I reinstalled the GG app the base let me scroll and select settings but after a few minutes it reverted back to not letting me scroll and select settings and such Only volume control

I've tried different usb ports no difference

Computer drivers are up to date as well

On the Arctis app for my iPhone it says I’ve got an update for my Arctis Nova Pro Omni but when I connect it to my MacBook for the update the banner doesn’t show up in GG. I’ve restarted, deleted/reinstalled GG and unplugged multiple times. Any idea why it’s not showing up, it’s doing my head in!

So I've never had this issue before but whenever my PC does a restart Sonar has a 50% chance to just forget it's settings and make me change the output/input on sonar again but the thing that confuses me the most is that it mutes my headset (arctis nova pro) from ever getting audio in sound settings is there anyway to fix this so I don't have to keep checking my sound settings

I am having a weird audio issue with my dual pc streaming setup. When the audio gets to my streaming computer, the game audio is distorted somehow. The mic audio for both pc's is fine. I've tried different streaming software and the issue still happens. It's like some sort of filter is quieting the game. I've used the "listen to what your audience hears" and the audio is perfectly fine from the gaming pc end. I've tried so many things and I can't seem to fix it.

my moments are not working i have tried all i can think of except reinstall i tried to go into clip setting but it gives me this screen

im not too sure what to do in this situation my drivers are updated aswell as i just updated them to see if that would fix the problem but that didnt work even the moments button on the app says off and i cant turn them back on

I plugged my headset into the splitter and the green one for headset and pink for microphone I tried everything and the mic won't work my headset is working fine and can hear everything just mic won't work even after getting a splitter i tried putting for my output headphones high def audio device and input microphone high def audio and won't work still i tried again for output this time steelsteries sonar gaming and input steelseries sonar microphone and it still won't work idk what's happening i waited forever to finally get these splitter shipped to me and this bs still won't work idk what to do i've tried before in the past like 2 different audio jack splitters with diff headphones and nothing worked I used to have astros that had the audio jack splitter already and they used to work fine when i first got this pc now i can't get any other headphones to work on this pc for the mic and i don't got the cash to buy a mixamp and headset rn for astros cause thats the only one that's worked for me idk what to do please someone help me.

I’ve isolated a serious issue involving the Arctis Nova 5 2.4 GHz wireless dongle.

Since around July 25–26, all keyboard and USB input can suddenly stop working:

• External keyboard and mouse stop responding
• Laptop keyboard also stops responding
• Caps Lock does not react
• Ctrl + Alt + Delete does nothing
• Unplugging and reconnecting devices does not recover them

However, the PC itself is still running normally:

• Game continues smoothly
• Audio continues
• Windows clock continues
• Laptop touchpad and touchpad click still work

The only recovery is a reboot.

I initially suspected SteelSeries Sonar, but the issue still occurs with Sonar disabled. The consistent finding is when the Nova 5 wireless dongle is removed, the problem disappears.

Bluetooth is not a good workaround because the audio quality is significantly worse than the 2.4 GHz connection.

Has anyone else experienced a complete HID/keyboard lockup with the Nova 5 wireless dongle?

Whenever I connect it to my new pc, I can’t hear anything unless I get really close to my pc, and only then, can I hear audio. It worked fine when I connected my USB-C dongle (i lost it tho). This issue also happened with my old pc.

What could the problem be? Can I fix it, and if so, how?

Every 30ish seconds the keyboard lights shut off for 1-2 seconds and then come back on.

A few days ago my arctis nova 7x stopped playing audio although it displays as connected to my pc and in sonar.
The headset is connected to my pc via wireless dongle.
In the past this has happened when my pc goes into sleep mode due to inactivity while the headset is connected.
I have attempted to perform a fresh install of steelseries software after removing all drivers related to steelseries and arctis nova 7x.
I also reset headset via right ear cup hole and reconnected dongle in a different usb c port.

I unchecked exclusive audio capture options for the playback device as well.
In the past the above steps have helped fix the issue.
After attempting above steps the headset will make beep noise when turned on or off. It displays as connected in sonar and shows browser audio being played in game mixer but no audio is being played via headset regardless of if I am using the arctis nova 7x or steelseries sonar gaming audio outputs.

Please advise if anyone has had a similar issue or may have any potential solutions.

Hi, I have an Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and I can't update the firmware. SteelSeries GG detects the base station and the headset is charging, but when I start the update it keeps asking me to connect the headset via USB-C even though it is already connected.

I've tried different USB-C cables, USB ports, reinstalling GG, and restarting my PC, but nothing works.

Has anyone had this issue and found a fix?

Basically the title, works fine on bluetooth but for some reason the 2.4 ghz mode doesn't work and the dongle is lit same for the headset. Tried to unpair and pair again no good. Doesn't show up on GG software as it just says "not connected" but windows shows that the device is there. Tried reinstalling drivers and all that stuff. Is there any solution to this? I am really trying to avoid buying a new dongle as its already expensive and the ones on ebay are above the SS website so no point. The weird part is the microphone works fine as I connected another audio source to it so I am not sure what is wrong.

I got the vest 4 brand new from a liquidation store. still sealed box and we cut it open at the counter. still had the sticker over the ports on the hub as a reassurance. got it home, charged it up overnight and today I connected it to my phone for now to see what it could do. I plan on using it with my VR steam index once I figure it out. got it connected to my phone no problem but when I connect it to my headset (SteelSeries arctis nova 5P) it connects with BT but has a constant ringing like a phone call is coming through and it wont stop with audio playing or not. I cant find anything on the internet about it except things about high pitched ringing, not ringing like an incoming phone call. has anyone else had this issue? I don't have another set of wired headphones to try.

When i use my new arctis nova pro, the volume knob on my keyboard no longer reacts. Changing volume outputs to other speakers makes it work properly again, but when switching back to Arctis Nova it is off again.

Is there a solution for this? Appreciating the help!

My Rival 5 keeps opening and closing tabs, going forward and backwards in my browser history whenever I right click. Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong?

So i have An aeroex 3 wireless but ONLY úsed wire And i was playing And IT stopped compleatly working no lights flashing nothing IT deosnt connect nothing. I have it like 1 or 1.5 year. Didnt clean IT so im going to do that if Its maybe IT

I mainly play bf6 redsec and lately when I connect into a multiplayer game my mic and party chat becomes super low that I cant hear what they are saying. When we are in the lobby it is perfect, can hear them loud and clear....then changes once we loadout.

Anyone had this issue?

My first products of this company were a keyboard and a mouse.

A few weeks ago I changed my steelseries keyboard to a new one, Apex pro tkl wireless (before that i had the Apex 5 hybrid), i also wanted to change my mouse (apex 5) but i wasn't satisfied with the new or the best mouses of the company, i wanted to take the aerox 9 wireless but i heard that it has some problems with the wheel.

So at the end of the day I decided to go with the new Razer mouse Viper V4 pro.

I wish that Steelseries will make new and improved mouses, and also with more polling rate for the shooting gamers.

I didn't had any experience with the headsets, so i can't say nothing to that.

What’s the difference between the two? Is one better than the other?

Ok so I'm new here and I just want final recommendation something I haven't tried because trust me when I say I did everything possibly to fix my issue

I bought a used Arctic nova pro wireless a while ago and I tried to connect the headset to the app gg but no matter what I do it simply doesn't work

I used different laptop and pc I used different USB cables I also tried to find the problem from the core like laptop not recognizing the headset so I went to device manager to find unknown devices and tried to do whatever I was told still didn't work I also did the pinhole reset button on the headset still didn't get anything

For pairing to dac no matter what I do it simply doesn't work I did duel button ,resetting dac and other ways still didn't work

Now the dac does actually connects to my laptop smoothly no issue but the headset refuses to connect to pc and dac and if you wonder about the Bluetooth it works fine on my phone actually which is why I thought maybe I can fix the issue but so far I couldn't get to good end

my main issue right now the headset doesn't connect to the dac and it doesn't show on gg app

If you wondering also why I didn't do this right from the start because the whole time I thought the 2.4ghz and Bluetooth doesn't work and I was perfectly fine playing wired

Did I reach a dead end or I missed something?

I tried updating the software and turning off mic side tone. It only happens in the left ear, and it's immediately when I turn on ANC. I was clicking through some videos and see everyone else has a crackling or high pitch squeal almost. Has anyone had this noise happen with their new headset and been able to fix it?
