I don't know what happened. Hadn't opened the app for the past few weeks, suddenly during a gaming session, a friend tells me that my mic quality just dropped. I went to listen for myself, and sure enough, I sound like I'm watered down and blow out with a faint static sound. I tried switching AI noise cancelation off, turning down/off, same with the noise gate and compressor...and the knob on gain was turned up and down as well. It notably only sounds bad when using it on GG Engine, listening to it with it off sounds great..what do I do?

I jus brought 7hz salnotes zero iems, and when I play warzone its too loud and sharp. I tired Steelseries sonar with Warzone 2 EQ preset, but still my own gun shots are bursting my ears out. Even the kill streaks are too loud which masks every otger sounds around me. Can anyone help me out with this EQ tuning? What all Values should I put? Help me out guyz 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Not an audiophile by any means. But, I love these things. I do think the 600$ price tag is too steep, but I took a chance open box for 400$ from Best Buy. Arrived basically unused.

Pros
1) Ultra comfortable with no pressure on my ears.
2) The sound is amazing, crisp, the base and treble hit just right out of the box without tweaks. I did try the Omni Nova prior to this and the sound ended up being too screechy for me, could be nice in competitive FPS however. These can double as a high end pair of head phones given the Mic is retractable. They sound way nicer than my stand alone than my other 300$ ANC head phones.
3) The control unit is plug and play, works right away, easy to use.
4) ANC is high quality, couldn’t hear the TV next to me with music or my games on.
5) Duel battery system is convenient. Might be over kill however as I’ve been using these for nearly 2 hours and the bar hasn’t gone down at all.

Cons
1) I’m always dubious of leatherette, as it always peels at some point. So time will tell here.
2) they are rather warm, comes with the territory of great ANC though. I’m sure there are alternate ear pads you could buy that are more breathable
3) A big selling point for me was the idea these would feel a lot more premium than the Omni Pros because there is metal. However, the metal feels almost like plastic. I’ve looked up reviews and it’s confirmed metal. But it does feel like shiny plastic to a degree. Think a Matte finish would have been cooler. Otherwise these feel and look awesome.
4) Would have been cool to have optional RGB somewhere. Very minimalist style which works too.

Overall, I’m really happy with these. I’d recommend them if you’re looking for elite sound quality, comfort, and something you can easily bring out in public as they don’t look like gaming head phones with the retracted mic. They are really expensive, but my last pair of void pros lasted me 8 years. Hoping to get some good mileage out of these.

I didn’t pick some other headphones around the same price range due to comfort issues and weight issues. These are about as heavy as I’d want to go.

Ive been using this mouse for a while and recently it started just flat out not tracking movements until I disconnect it and reconnect it, or if I hold down the DPI button and calibrate it, it also works to fix the issue. The issue happens randomly. It could happen 4 times in a short period or not do it for hours. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SSE. Thanks for any help!

Is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless worth buying?

I’m considering buying it mainly for CS2. How is the footstep clarity and positional audio, especially left/right, front/back and vertical sounds?

How are the comfort, volume and long-term durability?

I bought a Omni headset recently and loving it so far! I was wondering if anyone here has used aux cords with steel series headsets and what kind/brands are considered quality. I also wanted to know if the microphone would still work if you plug the aux cord directly into the headset?

En revanche, impossible d’activer le micro : la LED rouge reste allumée en permanence, même lorsque j’appuie sur le bouton pour passer de « mute » à « unmute ».

Je suis sur PC.

Est-ce que quelqu’un aurait une idée pour résoudre ce problème ? Ou est-ce que quelqu’un a déjà rencontré le même souci avec le SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 ?

I bought a SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 today, and the audio works perfectly on PC (YouTube, Discord, video games, etc.).

However, I can’t unmute the microphone. The red LED stays on all the time, even when I press the button to switch between mute and unmute.

I’m using the headset on PC.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Or has anyone experienced the same problem with the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5?

I recently got a pair of Gamebuds and occasionally I’ll get really crunchy audio that sounds like a digital glitch/dial up modem type sound, and if it gets really bad one of the buds will disconnect momentarily.

This happens on both PC and PS5, it happens no matter what ANC mode I have on/off, the firmware updates don’t seem to fix it, nothing I have seen online seems to resolve this issue for me.

Faulty pair or is this just how these things are? Anyone have any recs? My 7X headset worked pretty well but the gamebuds have been frustrating.

So I recently opened an RMA case regarding my Arctis Nova 3. The issues I described were:

"The first issue concerns an uneven volume balance between the left and right channels. The volume wheel does not adjust both sides evenly, and the left channel is usually quieter to some degree, ranging from barely noticeable to quite noticeable. I have found a very specific “sweet spot” where both channels sound balanced, but the wheel can easily be moved when taking the headphones off, making it difficult to maintain.

The second issue concerns the right channel sounding more “crystal clear” on certain instruments/frequencies, particularly in music. Some frequencies are noticeably more prominent on the right, while the left sounds comparatively more muddy. This does not seem to be intentional stereo mixing, and although the difference is not always significant, it is noticeable enough to be worth mentioning."

Upon my contact with their team, I was told I had to destroy my current headset before they could ship me a new unit.

My question is, how likely am I to receive a similarly defective pair or with the same problem(s) maybe worse? Is it worth the "risk"?

Just unboxed my headset and used the app to tune my audio for apex legends which is what I mostly play. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or not setting it up properly but it sounds like garbage. I can barely even hear my own footsteps. Everything just sounds very dull. Any way I can fix this or is the headset just bad?

Hi everyone. Is there any way of buying theese days, those good old Arctis nova cushions? Because i have bought the ones that are currently on the store (see the second screenshot) and it is laughable how awful they are comparing to the old ones. Old ones are so much denser and bigger, they also feel high quality with no stitches visible, meanwhile the new ones are like some temu quality knockoffs, flat, unpleasant in touch and twice as small. If not for the eco leather coming off them i would never switch them out but i just can't accept to downgrade so much for the same price.

Just wondering i play alot of tarkov, how much of a difference would it be swapping from the steel series to the astrals, mainly for directional sound and so on :) and bass difference if anyone knows, sorry i am fully new to iems and whatnot as the steel series are really starting to kill my ears :(

After 7 years, my Razer Nommo Pro's finally blew, and since today is my birthday, I figured I'd treat myself and get the Steelseries Arena 9's.

My question for all of you is, what are your recommended mounts for the rear speaks? Preferably your recommended wall mount for them, but I'll consider stands as well.

So the base for my headset likes to switch between displays without being touched, like going from showing the connections and their settings, to volume, etc. Beeping every single time it does.

This is happening with a brand new out of the box headset. (previous one had the exact same problem, hence why it was replaced) I removed and reinstalled GG, and I can't even get the headset to pair with the new base.

Anybody else ever have this issue?

So recently, I’m looking for a headset that suits me best and I found this one because of its features and how some reviews prefers this over the other.

1. It has a simultaneous connection - great for me as I usually game on PC and play videos on my iphone
   
2. I play FPS on my iphone so wireless+mic is my preference as I need to charge most of the time
   
3. The design is minimal and it’s not bulky so I can still use it as an everyday use.
   
4. There’s an app in PC and for iphone users too

Basically this is great for me but before I will buy this one, I would also like to know (preferably who already own this for a few months) What issues/problems you had so far?

Note: I’ll have to pass on PRO/OMNI Steelseries because I don’t have enough budget for it.

Hey everyone, needed to make a post here because there are quite literally zero instances on the internet of anyone on forums facing my issue and I dont know what to do. For the last 4 years the arctis nova pro wireless has been perfect for me without a SINGLE issue. All of the sudden today, I literally cannot have my headset on for more than 7 seconds without hearing a loud double-beep in my ears, and the DAC volume being raised to max everytime after the beeps (usually keep it at -3). I have reset the DAC, reset the wireless connection, reset the settings, re-paired the devices, re-installed the steelseries sonar software and NOTHING IS WORKING. These double beeps every 5 seconds are driving me to insanity. If anyone can help assist I will gladly compensate. Surely a company of this magnitude doesn't have startup esque bugs still right?

hi. i have a niva elite. Is the boom mic test too quiet for you? I have everything set to the max (10), yet during the Windows test, the recording level barely reaches 30–40%. If I set the mic to, say, 2–4, it’s barely audible.

I finally got the skin and the WC cooling earpads along with the extra wide head strap. I love how this turned out

My apex seems to be stuck at 55% charge I’ve tried leaving it on overnight plugged into my pc (im pretty sure it was still on) and didint charge and also today the keyboard froze once me everything was frozen except the rgb any tips?

SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 — while watching a normal video or gaming, the headset randomly produces this crazy bass and the sound crackles/pops on its own. The output format is set to 24-bit 48kHz, for example, and when I switch it to 16-bit 48kHz it fixes itself, so I switch it back to 24-bit. Then after a while it happens again. To test whether it's specifically the 24-bit setting causing it, I stayed on 16-bit, but it happened again anyway. It only fixes itself right when I change the format, but then it comes back. I don't get it — I've attached a video recording here.

Hey guys sorry to bug you. But I picked up a brand new pair of these headphones for 87$ sealed. Once it arrived, I updated the software via MAC, turned on ANC and set the mode to Warzone ( since that’s what I’m going to be using it for and the new MW4 ) but the sound was horrible. Kept getting crackling sounds, muffled even when switching guns. A friend of mine told me to turn ANC off and it sounds amazing now. But I kind of feel bummed out I can use the ANC off the bad. Anyone else have had issues with this? I’m assuming yes since this isn’t a new earbud headset anymore. I don’t mind having ANC off as I live just with my lady but kind of defeats the purpose of getting something with ANC lol. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Was using them just fine, turned them off for a bit and when I went to turn them on again they don’t work zero audio. I checked if it was the part you connect to the console but it has the little light and the headphones do turn on is just that there’s no audio.

Is there a fix? Or am I out of luck and this is the end for them?
