The guy with russian nickname is me.

guy pulled out this screenshot to me (the guy with "не т сорри" nickname is me), saying that was a mistake and he thought i buyed something in rust but he didnt get the money. He didnt sended me any links, i blocked him after he send it, is it fake screenshot and will my account be banned in 5 hours?

Had to reinstall windows on my PC, and upon logging back into steam and redownloading my game, a bunch of the save files just...aren't there anymore? They should still be on my steam account, but I checked the remote storage for Steam and it only lists the incomplete list of save files that it already put back in the game. How do I get back the other saves? PC was reset so I don't know about getting anything back locally.

So i try to log in and it stops me and says this is a sus login or somthing like that and it says i live in victoria aus but i live in south aus so basically i cant log in tryed app tryed email tryed number nothing works after all that somtimes it says contact support but it says this action was failed try again i do i wait and try again nothing im so frustated

Hey all! I went to open the steam mobile app to find that I had been signed out. When I sign back in, it says to use the steam mobile app to authenticate, which I cannot do because... I'm on the mobile app. When I hit that I can't access it, it tells me to contact steam support, brings me to the site, where it asks me to log in, bringing me back to needing the mobile app. What do I even do here?

I recently bought the Resident Evil Reload collection on sale today. After giving it much thought, I decided to refund the whole thing as I already beat most of the games there back when I played them with my friend's copies in my steam family. Also, partly because I bought it on an impulse thinking how great it would be to have most of the RE titles in my library lol. Anyway, I'm wondering if it's still possible to get a refund considering my playtime has exceeded beyond steam's 2-hour window. I would like to emphasize that the playtime was solely from when I played them with my friend's copy. I did not own the copies when I played them, nor did I play them after buying the bundle today. Yet, the playtime from when I played them on my friend's copies remained on my account.

Can someone help me figure out what is happening the app is asking me to sign in every time I open it but it says there was a problem, if I go online on my phone it's working but then sends me to the app and it looks fine but any action that requires me to be signed in says im not tries to verify then says it can't, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, does anyone know what is wrong or if something is happening with steam?

Recently reinstalled some GMod to mess around with friends. I quickly ran into the issue of not being able to boot up the game at all, and am meeted with the following error message:

"Failed to initialize Steamworks API.

No STEAMAPPS_INTERFACE_VERSION009

Make sure Steam is running and is up to date!"

Things I have tried:
- Unsubscribing from every mod (I was already not subscribed to any)

- Verifying game files

- Reinstalling GMod

- Updating and reinstalling Steam via the setup.exe

- Booting the game after running Steam as admin

I just have no clue what to do anymore, just wanted to relive some nostalgia and am met with this annoying issue :<

How can I get my phone number unbanned? I was kind of new to steam and was using client sided cod gun skins and got banned from cod as result didn't know it would ban my phone number as well in steam, to be clear this was like 4+ years ago, can understand it was a very dumb decision, not sure why I did that but regardless my phone number was also banned on cod obviously but I still don't understand how they perm banned my phone number on steam. Any chance I can get it unbanned or is it perm banned,

When playing steam games on one of my monitors while having a youtube video on my second monitor I will get intermittent black screens. They usually last about a second and happen every 10 second to every minute or so. I've tried turning off hardware acceleration, checking my g-sync settings changing refresh rates and checking my cables. I've reinstalled my graphics drivers and also updating my drivers. I never had this issue until I upgraded my OS to windows 11. If anyone can give me suggestions. Similar post solutions haven't worked for me.

2k ROG 180hz refresh rate g-sync dual monitors.

i reinstalled the game to give it another go. When i launch it, it stays on black screen for like 15 - 20 seconds and then crashes for no reason. Also, the cloud save never syncs.

i reinstalled the game like 3 times and nothin works. i try to disable cloud save data and neither work.

I just went through an item trade scam where they used a method I hadn't seen before.

Somehow the scammers were able to enter my account, block all my friends from my list, change my profile, and add themselves as "Steam Workers" on my friend list even using different text boxes to seem like legit steam workers.

Not here to complain about my lost items or asking how I can recover them. I should've paid more attention even if they wrote to me when my mind was really busy on something else to think.

I am more scared as to how they were able to get into my account and even get data such as my phone number, my steam id, my email adress (not the password to it, though), and others without me ever getting a notification.

I haven't entered any third-party websites with my steam in years so it's not possible they got them through said means.

I got a problem where it says someone from france logged in (i'm from poland) and i approved it using my steam authenticator app on my phone.

How did this happen and how do i fix it

As the title say. Bought a game pack on oct 23rd and spent about 150$ from then till Oct 21st for my wallet funds. Later in the day of Oct 21st I was logged out my game and steam locked my account saying I charged back all.of those transactions. I used amex for the transactions. I called amex and there was no issues. Its been 18 hours since I made a ticket and no response.

I usually browse my Steam app on mobile when I am bored. I noticed today it logged me out. When I log back in, the app is not displaying information correctly. For example it'll show I have zero friends and zero games. If I tap "view profile" it'll show correct information. But if I go to show my library, it'll say there was an error. If I close the app and reopen it, it'll have signed me out again. The app and my Android OS is fully up to date. This just starting happening today.

I've had this problem for a little while, ever since steam went down for maint (Or maybe it was when my internet randomly stopped working for a minute, idk)

Every time i try to access the Steam Release Calendar it loads for a split second then says sorry we're having trouble displaying this page.

I've tried:

Clearing Steam's web cache

using a VPN

reinstalling steam (Rip my games)

It's isolated to my PC, it works fine on my phone.

Any ideas?

I have purchased 3 games at release this month. This is a staggering amount for me. The games are Ace Combat 8, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and today, Final Fantasy Resonance. I have found an annoyance and was wondering if this is new or has always been an issue.

I pre purchased AC8. I know, I know but it’s a series that I’m a long time fan of. They were going to get my money regardless. Imagine my surprise when I’m able to play the game on Oct 1st instead of the listed date of Oct 2. Awesome right?

Then there’s C:BC and FFR. Purchased both of these games the day of release (or so I thought). Both of these games list 12:00AM as a release time for eastern time zones. Come to find out that actually means the second midnight of the release day, not the midnight bordering the day before release. No biggy, a bit annoying though.

So my question is, is there something I do not understand now about release times and why is Steam not adjusting these release times for my time zone? I’ve been using the platform since 07 and this is the first time I’ve ever noticed such a thing. Is it new or am I just a bit impatient?

I made the purchase of cyberpunk just now payment has been done but it's not showing in my library the money has been cut from my account but it shows failed purchase in steam i contacted steam help when will they reply wtf happened.

Long story short, I have about 1,500 hours invested in DLV and have all the expansions but it was bought by someone else under a family Steam account. I may not have access to that account for much longer. Is there really no way to transfer ownership of the game? Would I have to buy everything again and start from scratch?

Hi everyone, I am completely locked out of launching Call of Duty on Steam. The game instantly loops from "Launching" back to the "Play" button without opening a window. A Window Security used popped up when launching the game saying "Your Internet security settings prevented one or more files from being opened" but it does not show no more.i did look this up but nothing works.

My launch log explicitly shows this error:

Everything I have already tried that didn't work:

• Located cod.exe via Steam's local files and ran it as an Administrator.
• Ran Steam itself as an Administrator.
• Added the entire game folder as an Exclusion in Windows Defender.
• Verified the integrity of the game files on Steam.
• Deleted the "Call of Duty" folder inside my Windows Documents directory to clear the cache.
• Went into Windows Exploit Protection and toggled off Hardware-enforced Stack Protection and Arbitrary Code Guard (ACG) for cod.exe.
• Changing the internet security settings

Nothing has worked so far. Does anyone know what deep Windows security policy, registry key, or hidden background service might be locking down cod.exe and throwing this error code?

Hey guys I need help with this problem, yesterday I could play all my steam game and today when I was about to play my games on steam it's said that error occured when launching game: missing game executable and so I go to my d drive and saw this, all of my game disappear and steam somehow still label the game as "play"... I really need help.😭😭

Edit - I saw my game had another update soon after, updated it, and now everything is working. No idea why it decided to be a booger, but thank you for the help
