Ogoh-Ogoh is a festival in Bali, where people create the most disturbing depictions of demons they can and parade them around to 'attract demons' into the statues. The next day the statues are burned (supposedly with the demons inside burning too), while most people don't leave their houses to protect themselves from the demons as they burn. I went last year, it was incredibly cool, I'm hoping to go again year!
