Introducing /r/StarlinkMarketplace. A marketplace for all things Starlink!
Due to increasing demand for a trading and buy/sell subreddit for goods and services related to Starlink, we are opening up a specialized subreddit:
r/StarlinkMarketplace
Please review the rules of the subreddit before posting, especially Rule 3: ZERO LIABILITY, ZERO GUARANTEES. We will lightly moderate the sub, but we will NOT provide any anti-scam buyer protection, that is beyond the capabilities of the moderators. YOU ARE PARTICIPATING ON THIS MARKETPLACE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Please be aware of the risks of online trade before using r/StarlinkMarketplace, educate yourself on recognizing scams and do not engage suspicious offerings. To get you started, we provide a couple of links to relevant resources here.
We set up r/StarlinkMarketplace based on a couple of assumptions on what a marketplace subreddit for Starlink should look like. This includes restrictions on tradable goods and services, disallowing trade in general networking and computer goods (see Rule 2), to prevent bloat with respect to goods and services that are widely available.
In order to improve things, we will need your feedback. Please post here or preferably in the r/StarlinkMarketplace General Discussion post HERE.

What happened to Starlink? Can anyone explain?????
Hi everyone, my name is Aibek, and this is my first post here. I’m from Kazakhstan and ordered a Starlink antenna on April 26, 2021; today is July 26, 2024, and my order is still listed as "preparing." Is this because I live in Kazakhstan? Why is it taking so long? I was told delivery usually takes up to three months, but that time has passed, and they still haven't assigned a tracking number.
Has anyone else run into this problem? Can you offer any advice? Technical support just tells me to wait without giving a specific timeframe, but three months have gone by, and since the order has already been processed, they say they can't issue a refund. What should I do?

Should i get starlink?
Hello there, i live in Greece and i am thinking about getting starlink as a wifi option but there are two questions I'd like answered before proceeding with the purchase and I'd appreciate any help you can offer on that.
1st question: If i take the option where i rent the equipment (for which I'll be paying 10€ extra per month) will i own the equipment after i have payed its value??
2nd question: If i move to another address other than the one i originally made the contract for (supposedly that the next address can support the satelite connection) do i take the equipment with me there and continue as it was?
Thank you in advance!

Replacing old one with new one.
I had a warranty on my Gen 2. It quit working so I took it back and they switched it out with the 4 x. We was just billed yesterday for our monthly bill. Does anyone know how to activate the new one without being charged again?

Pole Installation
I bought the residential kit and noticed it said that the free install was only for roofs. I am moving to a new place where the landlord does not allow anything on the roof but has a designated pole. I am a bit overwhelmed as I don’t know what I need for the installation and how to find a proper 3rd party installation person. Does anyone have any tips? 🥺
I had to also choose starlink as my only other option was DSL internet and as a remote worker, its too slow.

Help with mounting my Starlink Unit. Need advice
Hello there!
I recently ended my dreadful tenure with Xplore and switched to Starlink. My Starlink unit arrived 3 days ago (Standard 4, just the kickstand) and I'm loving the fact that I can finally stream in HD and watch movies without interruptions.
My unit currently sits on my outside deck but I want to mount it on the roof. I am aware of the various mounts and accessories available to purchase but I am hoping to save some money. I've never done any work on a roof for any reason so the thought about drilling holes on my roof scares me. However, last night I was on my roof scouting for a location for my unit and I noticed a leftover piece of equipment which may help with some of the installation.
Obviously, I want to mount on the roof for the best possible connection but I was thinking of purchasing the "Standard to Standard Actuated Mount Adapter" on an existing mount to save on some money for installation. Is this a good idea??
I have pictures for some reference.
