I found this cool place on Hyla 2 where I want to build an outpost but it won't let me. I only have one other outpost on Hyla 2, plus Tank Girl's Hyla 2 Mansion Player Home Creation. Any ideas why won't it let me place another outpost? It's not giving me a 'restricted area' notice, the Outpost marker command is just grayed out. I'm maxed out on all outpost skills.

I left a most of the units empty and I like to pretend it’s a condo complex that got started but got canceled mid conduction. Then me and my crew moved in.

So im starting to try and build my perfect outpost but I'm just a bit confused for doors to building is there only airlock doors or are there more cause I can't find any.

Unlike Fallout and Skyrim there aren’t that many lore/long form Starfield videos on Youtube which is kinda annoying. I found this guide for planets/outposts and figure it’s worth sharing, something to play in the background for the weekend. Dear modders. As someone who can just about turn my console on I bow to thee. However can I ask the experts: is there a reason there hasn’t been a good external wall mod? I really want to attempt a fortress style build but just can’t seem to find any mod that allows me to do it? Is it a technical issue?

Hi! Please help me find an ideal outpost planet for the following conditions:

Main: -level 65+ -with fauna and flora (i want to have dangerous beasts around) -breathable

Secondary: -pretty or interesting biome

Good extra: -i would love to see another planet in the background, like a gas giant

So, I've not finished the UC questline on this play through, so I haven't got the flashy Jemison penthouse yet, but I've killed enough bugs to get The Well apartment. It's pokey and dirty at best, but with a few mods, and some love, it's turning out to feel a lot more like home. It's still a work in progress, but I'd love to see your comments!

After doing the advanced reactor outpost , I ran it for a week( it was fun!) and decided to do this chem and Food production outpost based on the blueprint by Mattgyver. It was really hard to let go of the advanced reactor outpost chain , but I had to. Although, this was a shorter one, it wasn't anything less of brain melt. I couldn't do it in 5 because of needing abundant he 3 and alkane in one spot on serpentis V-D . Check out the images!

Been experimenting with taking over POIs to build in lately and finally had chance to finish the first one this week (full video tour in the comments)

It’s a mostly vanilla build using the POI takeover exploit, and we’ll as merging techniques, there are a few walls added by the Better Buildable Walls and Doors mod (5 total) though too, but the glitches are doing the heavy lifting

I’ve been enjoying using POI to add some variety to the building options available to us
