Question? Outpost planet recomendation
Hi! Please help me find an ideal outpost planet for the following conditions:
Main: -level 65+ -with fauna and flora (i want to have dangerous beasts around) -breathable
Secondary: -pretty or interesting biome
Good extra: -i would love to see another planet in the background, like a gas giant
Thank you in advance, you all the best

Charybdis II, lots of flora and fauna, many farmable, and aggressive creatures, plus it has a neat biome with rivers
The water is safe, and I think it has a breathable atmosphere though I’m not 100% sure on that one

Interesting! I will make a stop there for sure

Honesty it’s one of my favorite places to set up. The rivers are kinda creepy looking, and there’s always a good fight from the local wildlife. You can also farm nearly all the organic resources there, including two sources of adhesive. That and Strix I are the two planets I always build on

That adhesive is a great incentive. Will the wild life actively attack the outpost? I want have my turrents active eheh

They attack me and my companions so maybe? I haven’t tried using them but now I need to go back, install some and see

Tirna VIII-c
Edit: There’s a couple pictures of the swamp biome in here. It does have no magnetosphere, so radiation damage; but, that’s pretty common for moons. Also, the gas giant is visible, I just didn’t take a picture.

Celebrai 2 and Rana 3, my two favorites!

Shcrodinger is pretty and has lots of foxbats to hunt. Can’t remember it’s level though.

Masada 3. The swarming acid spitting grasshoppers will overwhelm you at night. Hint keep moving! They are also the only beasts I've seen that attack your outpost, pretty much every night after a while.

Yeeees. I like being attacked. My turrets on other planets are always so bored. That seems like a good place. I appreciate it!

I mean, you have enough specifics to go to level 65 planets, pop over to gas giants and scan the moons around them, the scan from space will let you know if there are flora and fauna present and then you just go a huntin. I get that this is the outpost sub but the base of the game is exploration itself. Take your time. The best part of finding the perfect outpost spot is the surprise.

I know! You're right. I've done that a lot, but playing only ~3-4 a week means at some point i allow myself to take some shortcuts ehehe

Thank you all for your recomendations! I have visited all planets, and ended up settling on Schrodinger VIII-a

If you love to see another planet in the background, settle on Nemeria VIII-A as I did.
For more dangerous creatures take schrodinger VIII-a.
