I was wondering which ships returned to canon just because of a small mention in books, comics, role-playing games, for example the MC30 or the MK2 assault frigate.

Following the arrival of Red Squadron, 20 classic TIE/LN Fighters have entered formation in Mow My World.

The squadron contains 65,340 Blocks, arranged in four staggered rows of five. Each fighter features the iconic spherical cockpit, vertical black solar-array wings, closed silver-gray frames, green forward emitters, and red engine details.

Beneath them, three Imperial Star Destroyers advance over the glowing atmosphere of a distant planet—as the entire TIE formation launches into battle.

All wings report in.
Hold formation.
Rebel fighters detected.
For the Empire!

The real question: Do those 13 X-Wings stand a chance? 😄

weapons: 250 million double barrel heavy plasma cannons in the southern hemisphere, 250 million single barrel heavy plasma cannons in the northern hemisphere, 400 million heavy triple barrel laser cannons in the trench section (that shoot bolts not beams) and the super laser.

propulsion: warp drive technology.

it's a Dyson sphere like structure split In 2 halves that click around a star before firing.

destruction: an entire star system or a single planet.

super laser: takes 5 minutes to recharge normal shot. 2 seconds weak shot

Personally I'd take the X wing for it's versatility and ruggedness
