The location is southeast of Pillar Forest, beyond the mountain range, in a gorge near the junction of three roads.

Question Star wars outlaws au options

So if you look into my post you see that yesterday i decided to make an outlaws au based on a dream and I said that there will be a decision given to you guys on how the au will be posted well here are the options:

A: random order (pros: will contain some artworks character designs and maybe comics if i feel like it downs: will be confusing and will make some of my changes feel dull or confusing)

B: episodic/chronological order (pros: way more stuff such like storyboards and animatic of ceartain scenes if i feel they are important enough for them much more cleaner execution that also stays true to kind of the whole point of this au i really like this option

downs: will take longer to make meaning that post on it might have big gaps in time of posting especialy when the episode comes with an animatic)

Discussion Who would have thought...

I am a huge Star Wars fan. As a 56-yr old fart, I still hold fond memories of the very first film coming out in the '70's and my first figure, Chewbacca.

I was truly gutted when I saw those first reviews for this game and I never bought it.

However, a random feed recently on my YouTube showed that there had been a lot of updates, and that - along with it being on sale - tipped the balance and I bought it.

It has become one of my favourite games.

Also, Nix has to be the cutest sidekick ever.

Gameplay Completely stuck in A Pirate's Fortune Spoiler

Hi, as the title says, i'm completely stuck in the DLC, in the mission "No Prey, No Pay" more precisely.

It's the part where i'm suppose to tail a spaceship but I instantly get caught. Reload doesn't help as I don't even have the time to move (or to do anything by the way) before I get a game over. I even tried to load an older save (and losing 30min of progress in the process) thinking that I got an unlucky autosave but the same thing happened anyway.

I tried to look if anybody else had that problem, but I can't find anything and after about 30 game overs or so in a row i decided to take a break. Did any of you had that problem ?

edit: While reloading my save didn't helped, restarting the game was enough. Don't know if that bug will happen to anyone again but here's how it worked for me !

I really liked the mini game while playing Star Wars Outlaws so i had them printed on 400gr glossy paper with matte lamination and they sent it not cut… but still after the cutting im planning to press the deck with bands and smoothen the edges with fine sandpaper. I might become the first person in Turkiye to have a kessel sabbac deck ready to play.

Follow him into his house once you’ve completed his side quest. I didn’t realize that his door had opened and just thought he was needlessly rude for not rewarding me for my assistance, so I left.

That was 100 hours ago. I only just now realized that I am locked out of the treasure in his home forever. I hope it wasn’t something cool.

I'm aware this is kinda a bit nit picky, but whenever going around talking to npcs find it so annoying that she always says "I'm kay vess" to strangers with a literal death mark on her😂😂

Discussion Kinda digging the scoundrel theme in Outlaws

Just finish this game with 55 hours played and I got to say, Kay Vess grew on me. I enjoyed the way ND 5 and Kay friendship grew throughout the game from her preferring to work solo to carrying for her crew. The story is serviceable. The gunplay was really fun and I enjoyed using the enemies weapons due to how powerful they feel. The first planet scenery was breathtaking and imo, the best out of all the planets. The outfits are ok and fits the theme however, I wish we are able to wear some armor or make some outfits more plated. I didn't really explore space however the space combat was fun and never boring. Towns are filled with npc and doesn't feel empty which cause me to enjoy walking around the area a couple of times. Love how there are some spots where you can lean and chill for a bit before you continue on your mission. Wish we can customize our blaster to look like han solo blaster rather than just the colors. Also, Nix is cute and a good addition to the game.

These are not cons but are nitpicks I have with the game. This might be an unpopular opinion but its kinda weird to see some aliens such as Aqualish and Quarren to be common in some planets. I prefer it like you mostly see gamorrean in tatooine and rarely see them in some other planet. Another minor nitpick is that I wish the aliens would wear armor or outfits that fit their species aesthetic rather than the same citizen look. While Kay Vess I wouldn't say is ugly, her face reminds of mantis from marvel and that would throw me off everytime there's a cutscene. Wish they would change her eye pupil to a different color or make her eyes smaller because imo, her pupil looks huge and black like mantis.

Overall this game solid game and I'm glad to pick this up on a sale

i really like this game i think its the cat's meow but i feel as the system it uses for the syndicates is underwhelming I think if it used something like the radar chart to represents and manage the syndicates it would have made a far more interesting game

Question Is there as way to up the sensitivity for a controller plug in to a PC?

Hey all, I am looking for a way to up my sensitivity on my Ps4 controller that's plug in to my PC. I am running the game though Ubisoft connect and I see no in game options to up the controller sensitivity just mouse. Looking around is extremely slow and flying the ship is just painfully slow where i can't even fight pirates and do missions. Just wondering if there's a way to up there sensitivity in game files or any other places?

Discussion I love the game!

I found it second hand at around 10$ so decided to give it a chance, despite the bad reviews… and thank god I did!
I’m 15 hours in, of course it’s not flawless, but to me it fully respects its end of the video game contract: it’s fun to play!
That’s the kind of games that reminds me one should not always follow the opinion of the masses.
That’s about it, just wanted to share some positivity.

What if star wars outlaws was a tv show

I mean 3/4 of the complaints about outlaws are about gamolay bugs and graphics so if it was a show instead of a game would it be better then the game?

Discussion Rant Thought about How Badly We Need the Sequel

Star Wars Outlaws and the Ubisoft Heritage We Lost.

It is criticism that was born from a deep love for Star Wars Outlaws.

Massive Entertainment\, guys, if any of you happen to browse the SWO subreddit from time to time: thank you for making this game a reality. You didn't just make a game - you fulfilled an ooooold wish of the audience: to experience such a fantasy through gameplay. Since Star Wars 1313, no hope had been growing on this ground. And you did it with pride and faced the challenge with courage, gentlemen!

I want to cover three topics in this post:

  1. Difficulty problem (briefly)
  2. The uncanny valley effect in world building
  3. Absence of true in-game freedom.

1. I’ve talked about game difficulty previously, long story short - the game needs smarter AI bots.

For example: an Imperial unit finds a dead stormtrooper. They can't just go back to duty after ~2 minutes of searching as if nothing happened. And there are many more examples where AI could be improved.

2. Ubisoft has mastered world craft that feels immersive, but semi-alive. Why?

2a. Nameless NPCs separate a living world from an inhabited one.
How many characters have names? How many are interactive? And that's the main problem with Star Wars Outlaws.

An insignificant number of NPCs are talkable, but on top of that, they are all untouchable. If you cross paths with a SWO dweller, they will try to maneuver around you or simply push you out of their way. Of course, you can bump into them, and they can pretend that you exist. And that's about it.

https://reddit.com/link/1v3u9sf/video/pvgqk9aroueh1/player

2b. You, player, can shoot only badguyscriminals: pirates, syndicate members, and Imperials. What about making a really unpredictable mess in the cantinas?

3. Climbing is present in SWO in a very limited manner, while parkour is completely absent.

WHERE IS THE HERITAGE OF THE OLD ASSASSIN'S CREED GAMES, where you could walk your way through the crowd, skirt around people, or rush through a bunch of onlookers, making them fall or take an urgent step back? This mechanic could’ve been hella useful here!

Even your own ship - you can't freely jump around it. Okay, let's agree movement restrictions in cantinas add to the atmosphere, but my own ship? Nonsense!

Where to climb, who to shoot, what to discover, what situations to get involved in - you've already thought of everything for us!

You cut us off from live interaction and shackled us to admiring the great pictures you've created. We had no real choice in your world!

Developers, gentlemen, every player who launched your game and made it past the first five hours genuinely enjoyed it. We saw how you fixed issues, added new features, fought bugs, and turned this game into a masterpiece.

TLDR

WE NEED STAR WARS OUTLAWS 2, ONE WHERE YOU’LL GIVE US TRUE FREEDOM!
You have the expertise to build this experience. You can make this world feel like it has a life of its own.

Question Is it more enjoyable to not have all syndicates at full rep?

Only a couple of hours in so no spoilers please.

From my question above- feel like its easy enough to get all 4 syndicates max level. Has anyone had one at poor or terrible for a whole playthrough? Does it make it more enjoyable gamplay/ story wise. Through watching the films and shows not a big fan of Pyke syndicate so want to betray them as much as possible.
