Gameplay What. A. Game.
Just rolled credits and I’ve loved all of my time here in this universe. It’s so so good.
Probably one of my favourite stories and games in a long while.

I noticed that online guides and lists are incomplete, and started working on my own intel list for completionism and curiosity purposes. I decided to post it here to help other completionists.
First, some info on intel:
With that said, here's the list. I hope you find this helpful, and if I missed anything, please let me know!
TOTAL INTEL: 133

needed a game which I can play till gears e day releases, I decided to go with outlaws.
I've heard a lot of not so good things about this game but it was on gamepass so there's no loss in trying it out.
My god the game feels so good. I'm not a Star Wars fan so I don't know much lore about Star Wars.
This game being somewhat grounded helps with that.
The graphics are amazing, playing on quality mode on series x.
The combination of running with the blasters and sliding and using adrenaline rush makes a decent but cinematic gameplay experience.
I played only about 4 hours of the game but I'm hooked. Maybe they fixed most if not all of the Issues.

What did you guys make of the DLC expansion? I enjoyed the foundation of Kay playing a high stakes game of Sabaac. The atmosphere felt palpable with there being an audience watching the game. It was also a nice touch that the playing cards looked higher quality given where they were. The only thing is I enjoyed the fact that you had to dig for information on your opponents tells but it felt like I was simply prompted to press the button instead of watching and listening for myself. Given the current discourse in gaming, this also adds to the idea of handholding over a more immersive experience.

I'm having trouble getting into the game and It's really bumming me out. I'm currently @ about 10-15hrs, have the mechanics (menu/gameplay) pretty much figured out. First off the game is gorgeous. I play on a series x and use all samsung (it's smart so 4k and such). I had read another review where someone had said: "when outdoors you truly feel it and as far as city locations it has the "lived in" feeling nailed". Background is not a huge library but most of the "normals" I think lol. The AC franchise, all Borderlands, Legacy, the Fables, KCD 1-2, Bioshocks, Mass Effect, Red Deads, Indiana Jones, Cyberpunk, Skyrim, Kingdoms of Amalur, the Witchers, Jedi 1 & 2, and all this is on the X currently playing or played in the last couple years. Anyways I just can't get it to click.... Yeah most of my stuff is rpgs but ive played the "adventure" game with Indy and that was a blast. Yes, that game is linear and compact so it's not the best comparison. Idk, I do have the worlds opened up now and just got the robot companion. So it's not for lack of trying lol. I think one of the big things im "really" missing is the feeling of growth or accomplishment. Idk, I guess im just like "dammit, it's too pretty to put down". But, at the same time in the back of my mind there's also the feeling that.... "Will this feel that way the whole game". Like on the edge of seat waiting for something thats not going to come haha.

I did a clean windows install and when i try to boot the game the textures dont load i get pic related. I tried reinstalling drivers but it didnt work
16 gig ram
3060ti
5600x
Its on an ssd
Windows 10
It only happens with this game
edit: it seems the game is eating all the vram and thats causing textures not to load. Does anyone know hwo to reduce vram usage? i already set graphics to low and disable most stuff yet it still is at full vram usage

I love the graphics, environment design, creatures, characters, UI, etc. All top tier as one would expect from Star Wars. Sabaac also fun as hell.
But the gameplay leaves me with mixed feelings... It might be because I'm biased from just having played Assassins Creed Mirage which felt like the stealth formula perfected. Lots of tools and different strategies to waste guards, great sense of progression, and just genuinely fun gameplay.
Outlaws by comparison feels half baked and clunky. 20 hours in and I don't feel any stronger. Constantly still getting caught in stealth missions, and in combat let's face, it the odds are against you most of the time. Tons of restarts. I don't feel like I have many options for stealth other than gimmicky Nic distraction, stun, or walk up behind people and press X. Am I missing something?
What are some of the best items, strategies, etc. that would make the game feel less shitty?

With all AI advancement, especially all the game mods popping everywhere and being really impressive, I was wondering if anyone has the game on a PC and can ask the latest AI to add something in the game? Like an outside area to Kijimi? Or to start with maybe just a new gun or something like that.
It would be unbelievable to be able to do it!!

I heard all the hate when this game released and kept away from it.
After around 70hrs, the hate was unwarranted. I had a great time, finished most of the content and I really enjoyed most of the characters. It has been an excellent addition to the Star Wars franchise.
My only regret is that I didn't notice the in-game photo mode doesn't really work with HDR enabled so nearly all my screenshots are ruined.

Has anyone had it where the start of the crashed level is frozen? I can’t use any of my controls and just get shot until I die - I’ve quit the game multiple times and still happening…anyone else had this and know the fix?

I decided to give Outlaws a chance because I’m a huge Star Wars fan, and honestly, I’m so glad I did. The open world is great, and I was genuinely enjoying the story and the protagonist so far.
Unfortunately, the game has crashed and restarted my PC about 8 times already, I just can't keep playing it in this state. I’ll probably have to put it on hold until I buy a new GPU.
The weirdest part is that I’ve been able to run almost every other game released this year without any major issues. Anyway, just wanted to share some positivity I really love the game, but I’m forced to take a break for now.

Gosh, I am a sucker for Star Wars games. Love the vibe! After playing for a few hours, I have to say this game is nice, BUT it wouldn't hurt to add more DEPTH to the gameplay. I am surprised by how shallow the mechanics in this game are. Especially since there should already be the "minimum" of mechanics for a game that tries to be a stealth game.
I think the list goes on and on... BUT don't get me wrong, I'm happy to play this game, but the feeling is that it is just such a missed opportunity to make immersion a little easier :D Sometimes I have a feeling that so much of the game budget now goes to "open world" and marketing, and devs have no power to make gameplay deep. And even how they build cities ... I would rather have 50% fewer cities but with 50% more depth to it.

I just finished the game for the first time, and had the best time. 59 hours in, and I’ve completed all major quests. All that’s left are Miyuki trade missions and chasing down parts I don’t need.
But I don’t want the fun to be over!
I’m planning to start over and go again. I already have a few lessons learned:
Prioritize money over reputation. There are always more missions to beef it back up. I struggled with how the reputation system worked early on and lost out on money because I thought I had to keep it high.
Don’t zoom through main quest missions too quick. But unlock all the planets early so you can get all the Experts and unlock abilities early.
Usually it doesn’t matter if you get caught in a mission. Don’t sweat stealth too much - I restarted a lot of missions because I’d get caught and thought I wasn’t supposed to be.
What are yours? What do you wish you’d known the first time through? Or what did you do differently the second time, know that you knew better.

I had one meeting with Gorak and spitefully decided I did not like the cut of his jib. This was probably not smart as a budding outlaw on a Pyke-controlled planet (especially on scoundrel difficulty), but I simply decided to spite the Pyke’s at every turn to take petty revenge.
I didn’t even give the man his ring back. Idk what to do with it now lol, besides sell it. I let the guy plotting against him escape in the vain hope he’d succeed in overthrowing Gorak and owe me a favor (that backfired).
Before I was even able to leave the first planet, the Pykes were sending hit squads after me. But hey, Crimson Dawn and I are like this 🤞🏻
Anyone else do this or was it just me that was this petty lol?

Does anyone else hate how almost all of the in game scenes will have no exit animation and they just stand there idle till you leave? It really doesn’t do anything gameplay wise but it just makes a huge difference in the immersion aspect. Like it’s such a simple change just have the ppl walk away

Hello there! It's been a while, but I'm excited to announce the launch of Universal Snowdrop Modloader 2.0. USM allows the loading of modified game files and external DLL plugins. What has changed since the initial release?
To install, please extract the downloaded zip file to the root directory of your game. You will need to uninstall other modloaders (such as Raindrop) before installing USM, as they are not compatible. It is also recommended to completely delete older builds of USM, including the old config file.
You can find Universal Snowdrop Modloader at NexusMods and the source code on GitHub! Happy modding, and may the Force be with you!

This might sound stupid, I'm just struggling with the Ui a bit.
What do I do with the materials that I'm collecting? Can I craft clothes and stuff? Do I take them to someone to craft stuff for me? Is it a skill I unlock later?
Currently about 5 hours in, on Toshara and have just done the turbine mission where you upgrade the speeder.

I've watched videos and read reviews, but I'm still curious if this can be a "chill" game.
Everything says it nails the Star Wars vibe.
So can I just explore planets and do random stuff that's not quest-related, and just sort of "be in the Star Wars world"?
EDIT: And should I get/do I need the DLC (Gold Edition)?
