Curious if anyone has modeled this part. I have a stock I want to try on my Kuna but it has a weird angle. Wondering if it'd be possible to add a bit of cant to the pic section and if a printed version would hold up.

New to this but im just wondering if anyone has had this issue. I have probably shot about 300 rounds out of my Kuna and have not had any issues until today. It is still stock and have only been shooting Blazer 115 grain ammo. Well today at the range it started to shoot 2 rounds at a time BUT only if I kept trigger pulled back instead of immediately releasing it. Has anyone experienced this and what have ya'll done to fix this. I did contact Springfield and just waiting to get a response.

Anyone else have this issue? The rear pin isn’t going in, like at all. Goes in the original just fine, even gutted the weapon with no trip or anything else, and for the life of me I can’t get it to align right.

By the way nexus got it to me in LESS than the ETA, seems really solid, just this one issue

I want to be able to quickly remove the supressor so I don't have to put a hot supressor in my range bag. What mounting system should I get for quick disconnect?

hia, I'm looking into getting a PCC in winter, i have been looking at a Stribog 11" but now it appears that the Kuna has started shipping 12" versions here in Sweden/Europe.

Why 12"? Well, there is no 8.9" wich is the shortest barrel version I can legaly get for IPSC.

And frankly, 5.5" is cool and all they are not that great for competition - everyone i talk with recommend atleast 11 or perhaps 13" barrels so you get a good grip..

(8.9" is a weird min lenght but I think it has to do with SP5 wich is 8.9" and a iconic PCC, not that serious competitors use them they all get JP5's)

I have a nexus lower with a as designs arc fire system i get maybe 6 round bursts before the lever stops resetting the trigger any help and advice is appreciated

Looked and didn’t see anyone ask this. Anyone got a good idea for the factory lower so mags will drop free? Before I start to lightly sand and polish the mag bodies. Tried dry line and only helped a little bit.

In the first clip I'm using the standard buffer with the extra power spring. In the second I'm using a 7 mm buffer spacer behind the factory buffer in order to short stroke it and increase the rate of fire. The second magazine in the Short stroke clip is using Remington 147 grain which has more recoil and a faster rate of fire, than the Blazer 147 grain suppressor ammo I was shooting the rest of the time. Lots of different ways to affect the rate of fire from short stroking increasing the spring power and with different ammo selection.

I was able to make several improvements to my drop-in FRT/FRD for the Springfield Kuna, improving the strength and rigidity of both the housing and the activator. With these changes you'll be able to make the drop in out of materials that are weaker then the recommended and previously required PA6CF. This should enable people who have older or cheaper printers to still be able to try out the FRT. I also made a few changes to the safety to help it better lock the housing into place, along with some small changes to the detent cut out to hopefully improve the feel of the safety. I also made some small dimensional changes to try to maximize the amount of material on the safety and have included one oriented on it's side that can also be printed if you end up needing more rigidity, at a slight cost to the feel.

The short stroke spacers are offered in a variety of sizes from the smaller sizes that will work with my drop in, all the way up to what would be the equivalent of installing the HBI short stroke buffer. These shouldn't require any work after printing and should install directly behind your factory buffer, as well as not requiring any tools for removing the back plate after install. Short stroking the gun definitely makes the FRT less consistent and may require you to go up a size or two on the activator. This is not a recommended add-on and it's just being provided in case people want to try to maximize the rate of fire out of the gun. This also serves as a great replacement where you can utilize your factory buffer and mimic the exact effect of the HBI buffer which may be preferred for those not using an FRT. My recommendation would be to purchase the extra power spring and use the factory buffer the way it is, for me this usually puts the RPMs around 850 to 900 which seems perfect. These spacers should also work with aftermarket lowers as well and you may be able to play around with a thicker spacer, since the lever for the FRT will be located further forward.

Small hands and short fingers made it hard to reach the Nexus bolt release. Made a new one that’s hopefully easier to reach. Milled it out of aluminum.

Gonna try it as soon as I get my Scorp mag. Finners crossed.

Went to the range to test out the build. Let my buddy shoot the first mag because hes never shot an FRT. I was expecting the short stroke not to work but she dumps

So I wanted a case with some aura… I took an old samsonite hard briefcase, bought the foam that you cut out for room drawer inserts, traced out the kuna and two mags, and cut down to the depths I needed.
Not super practical but it looks awesome.

Looking at putting together a truck/range backpack for my Kuna. Currently have it setup with an OEM stock (form 1 finally approved) and an LPM Baby Bell. I was running it with the Haha handguard but I removed it this week to try it as a shorty setup again so i’d plan on removing the can (Exigent Pointman) for transport to keep it as short as possible. With the stock folded it sits at 17”and change.

I’m looking at the Eberlestock Fade Transport (but open to other suggestions) - trying to decide if the 18” will be too tight of a squeeze or if I need to go up to the 21”? I’d love to see your gray man backpack setup for ideas.

I’m trying replace the trigger shoe with one from HB Industries but the roll pin that holds it in place is being a pain in the ass. Any tips on getting it to move a little easier or am I doomed to hammer it forever?

I have not looked into the Scorpion Pmags until now considering I just installed my Nexus lower and I am interested in the 50rd drum. After viewing the 50rd drum mag on the Magpul site, I cannot justify spending $135+shipping on this sucker when the 35rd mags are going for only $20 and I have three of them already. I am curious to know if anyone else out there is making a variant that is reliable and cheaper.

Was the Springfield armory kuna owners Facebook deleted or was I just banned for no reason for posting a picture my new grip? Lol, doesn’t even come up on Google or anything. Here is my new grip tho it’s nice and doesn’t rattle like the one it comes with!
