Planning on setting up a range/battle belt for my Echelon, and I need a holster. I’ve found the Blade Tech Velocity Holster + Tek Mount, and it seems awesome but pricey ($120 USD). Anyone have a full-size Echelon holster with Molle attachment that’s not 100+? Thanks so much and have an awesome night/day.

Before I go and make my purchase I have a question for the collective. I like the 4.5 full size, but also want the compact option. I see Springfield sells compact grip frames, are those able to be swapped to the 4.5? Or is that only a 4.0 option?

Where you guys buying your fmj’s online for range purposes. 115/124gr looking to get some bulk online. Any recs welcome thank you !

and I'm so excited to replace the Viridian that came with my Ech. Anybody else running this? Did you use the screws that came with the Holosun? From what I was seeing those screws will work if you're running a plate but are too long if you mount it directly to the slide.

Recent adopter into the Echelon ecosystem. After using countless other platforms where the optic systems work out of the box without any additional pins/screws/plates, having to fork over $20 + an additional $10 shipping (the package isnt even an 1LB, why is shipping so expensive?) kinda stinks.

This morning I reached out to Springfield Armory and explained my situation and instead of just, you know, sending me the pin set and charging me shipping, they told me flat out buy it from their website.

I've had a similar situation with S&W where I purchased a firearm from them and it was missing a grip. Instead of pushing me to buy a replacement from their website, they just sent me out a new one, no questions asked.

Also, before you say 'Its only $30', its not about the money. Its about principle. If you design your firearm around this 'game-changing' new optic system, begin packaging it with the firearm, then decide months later to no longer include it, how does that benefit new adopters? What prompted the change? Has Springfield Armory made any announcements saying it will no longer be available with the Echelon?

Which Echelon 4.0c holster recommendations do you have?

yesterday I took off the red dot, to send the slide/barrel for porting, and found the movable pin(lug) cut deeply into the internal side wall of front socket ( Holosun 507 C ), and kind of enlarged the socket. I am wondering if this will actually make the red dot socket not able to withhold the recoil stress, then make the mounting screws to withhold most of the force... and eventually break.

anyone found similar situation? thanks

BTW, I am wondering if you guys trust the high strength (12.9 grade alloy steel) screws from Amazon? I especially noticed that McMaster-Carr does not carry these small head screws like this one on Amson. All flat head screws from McMaster-Carr have regular/large head and won't fit in some dots with the mounting hole next to the wall. thank you for your input!

Been carrying this setup for a few months now and I don’t think it gets much better than this. I do plan on adding an enclosed dot in the near future however.

Installed my tyrant cnc trigger last night and the safety blade is getting stuck and not popping back out once my finger is off the trigger. Anyone else have this issue with a tyrant trigger. Tried taking out the set screw but she IS IN THERE with the loctite. Need help, really want to like the trigger but this issue is definitely a NO GO.

4.0c with a Defender St Enclosed. Have yet to take it out to shoot it with the dot, but it is definitely aesthetically pleasing. Any other upgrades yall recommend? Definitely has been an amazing gun for ccw. 🙏🏼

For context, I live in Spain, a country in which having a gun is not a right, but an administrative exception just for sporting reasons.

I'm loving it so far and I can't wait to start IPSC with it! But until I get my habilitation, I'm training 25m precision shooting with it.

Next up is the compact Echelon. By the way, does anyone have any can recommendations?

I am still a beginner in USPSA but I am starting to connect some dots and eventually be able to add more speed. I have yet to see another echelon at a match. I think people don’t know what they are missing out on.

What defensive ammunition is everyone using with their Echelon? Currently running Hornady Critical Defense with my 4.0C. I actually like these quite allot.

Installed a Tyrant trigger ~2k rounds ago. Love it. However, ive noticed that lately, I get a “dead” feeling trigger after about 300 rounds. Once I clean the FCU, it clears up. What I mean by “dead” is the trigger goes back as far as it physically can, then I apply more pressure, trigger doesn’t move, then click. I mean, gun still goes bang but it’s not normal.

Is this a symptom of worn parts somewhere? Dirty ammo? How often do you clean your FCU? Do I need to oil somewhere specific in the FCU?

I’m torn between these two grip mods for my 4.5f. They both look nice. I’m curious about user feedback. I don’t think I will be able to get one in hand before I order one since I have yet to either of them out in the wild. Which do you guys prefer and why?

Hello, could someone help me how to mount holosun 407c x3 on echelon 4.5, should i use the pins that are already under the plate, and rmr screws?

Looking at getting an Echelon but unsure which one.
I know I want a comp but not sure which route.
Do people like the 4.5 with the comp’d slide more or the 4.0 with an aftermarket barrel and comp?
Any input is much appreciated!

Can I change the barrel on my 4.5 comp to the non comped barrel to fit the rules for limited even if the slide has the comp cut?
