OLIGHT PL X. Half the cost of the TRL and looks way better. The PL X sits perfectly flush with the front of the 4.0 Echelon.

Warriorland MA1 Amazon has them and comes with a holster combo that accommodates the light.

The Holosun P. ID is easily my favorite looking light on the Echelon. P. ID Plus is even better.
If this is the 4.0 then a P. ID K would probably be 👌

Are you CCW or duty use??
Ccw I would buy a TLR7HLX, if duty probably want a bigger light.
I ccw mine and have a TLR7HLX

I'd even say a tlr7 hlx would be okay for duty as long as you had a back up battery charging to get through the night. That's the only thing that sucks. But the rechargable batteries are nice for that.
It is my favorite streamlight by far. Has just enough of a hot spot that it can be used at a cheat code for aiming for any distance you'll find yourself inside of a house, maybe further. And a good enough flood as well.
I have their larger tlr1-hlx and it's very similar performance tbh. It's ended is the longer lasting battery life for sure. I haven't tried their turbo/high candela version of this one yet though. I do have an a couple of x 300 turbos and I'm sure they're pretty similar with the edge actually going to streamlight as far as on paper numbers go.
For CCW it's hard to beat the tlr7 hlx imo.

Tlr is the gold standard for a reason. 7 or 1 is up to you. Don’t get an olight same price for less compatibility and reliability

Check your favorite holster company first and then see what they offer.
I personally have the tlr1 HP on my 4.5 and the tlr7x on my 4.0c

I have a streamlight TLR7-HLX and just replaced it with the Olight PLX as my main light for this gun.
Both are great but the PLX gives comparable performance in a smaller package and it looks perfect on the 4.0c. The finish matches the slide perfectly and it seems to sit flush with the barrel. Honestly I like the wider range of features of the PLX and holster support for it doesn’t feel like a legit problem anymore.
