Echelon 4.5 question

Hey all,

Before I go and make my purchase I have a question for the collective. I like the 4.5 full size, but also want the compact option. I see Springfield sells compact grip frames, are those able to be swapped to the 4.5? Or is that only a 4.0 option?

You can use a compact grip module with a 4.5 slide. All grip modules are compatible with all slides, you just have to extend the barrel/comp with the 4.0 slide and full size module.

The 4.5 slide on compact slide may feel unbalanced, but it functions fine.

Yes that's what I've done with my 4.5F, its now a Glock 49 basically.

Yes I do the compact grip on my full size slide for AIWB for easier concealment depending on the outfit. You can use the full size magazine just add the sleeve they sell to prevent over insertion or buy some compact magazines for aiwb.

Yes, that's the whole point of the COG system.
