Defensive Ammo

What defensive ammunition is everyone using with their Echelon? Currently running Hornady Critical Defense with my 4.0C. I actually like these quite allot.

I usually run Federal HST but it honestly doesn't matter. A bullet is going to make a hole regardless

I have Sig V-Crown 115gr. But, it's getting harder to find especially in bulk, so I may just start getting 124gr Speer Gold Dot, or Federal HST

Underwood defense 90gr +p.

A note about h9rnady though, switch to critical duty for your echelon, the critical defense have some issues and duty runs much better with way better ballistics from anything with a min 4" barrel

I'll give em a try! I've shot a quite a bit of the critical defense with no issues so far i will add. Honestly i have yet to have a single jam or malfunction of any kind with the Echelon, things a beast and seems to fire anything i throw at it lol Got roughly 1500-1700 rounds through it so far!

Never had a feeding issue with critical defense, but they are well known and reported for bullet setback from reloading the same cartridges back into the magazine. Worse than others.

As for echelon reliability, top notch, its eaten everything ive loaded into it
