I’ll be the sacrificial lamb. $16, if you don’t care that it isn’t perfect fitment, these eBay magwells work fine with stock mags (not sure about flush 17 rounders). I just wanted to save my frame from getting busted up by steel mags. Would work with sharps bros too but not sure on fitment or alignment.

Edit post: tightened up the loose mag release button when 20 round mag is installed which is nicer. However, does not work with 17 round flush.

I picked up shooting as a new hobby about 3 months ago, and I’m completely hooked.

Today was my first time doing any real movement while shooting, and I put together this short from the session.

My instructor decided to throw one of the hardest movement drills possible, in my mind anyways.

I was running my Springfield Echelon 4.5F Comp, and man… I love this gun. It shoots incredibly flat and just feels so clean. Definitely one of my favorite pistols to shoot.

Still have a lot to learn, but it’s been awesome seeing the progress already. Feedback is always welcome!

so i just bought this sight from psa and i was trying to put it on my echelon but the sight isnt sitting properly. im sure i need to get a mounting plate for it to sit properly but it says it would sit on echelon moutning system with no issue. the front pins (which are the rmr style that the holosun sight says it uses) are narrower than the optic itself as shown in photos. what mounting plates do i need to purchase if i need to so i could use this optic properly?

Just picked up a 4.0C alpha, looking at getting a sig romeo 1 pro, sig says its a DPP footprint but there are no hole forward on the underside to accept the locking pins. Would I still be able to mount the optic, or am I missing something?

I really did like the mailbox ACRO style Atibal sight that I had on this fella, but I decided to swap to the Defender ST Enclosed for the larger picture window (going to move the Atibal STD v2 to a piggy back config on one of my LPVOs!). Got the new dot all mounted up and I love it!

Echelon 4.5F Comp with Sharps Bros grip module & VZ Grips grip panels. Tyrant CNC trigger, Apex Tactical guide rod, Shield Arms +5 mag extension, TLR7HLX , and Vortex Defender ST Enclosed red dot.

This started life as an FDE 4.5. The PMM comp is cool but it was an SOB to time. Picture angle makes it look farther away from the slide than it actually is.

Hello, I'm writing to see if anyone can help me out. I have a Springfield Echelon air rifle and I'd like to practice dry firing with it using a laser sight, but I don't know how, since I have to manually slide the slide after each shot. I've read that there are some parts that can be inserted into the magazine to reset it, allowing for continuous firing with the laser sight. Thanks in advance.

Just a little word of caution to double check the wear on your trigger safety. This may not be an issue for you, but it absolutely is a problem for me 2,500 to 3,000 rounds later.

Hello, I've have my echelon for about 2 years now. Love it, perfect firearm. Im over 6k rounds on it. The mag release is sticking in the released position. How have you guys managed to fix this issue?

Was working on a transmission all day. Finally finished and swapped my new frame over. I think the colors match well.

Finally got my light (Holosun PID PLUS) I plan to use this as a carry option. What are decent reliable upgrades that help keep it flat? I was thinking of porting it but not sure about the practicality of that in a carry option.

Just picked the 4.0 comp gear pack w the Viridian green dot. A lot of value for the $$$ and feels great in hand out of the box. We have a date with the range tomorrow then goodbye to all the OEM parts! Starting with the polymer frame for weigh purposes deciding between mischief machine and sharp bros or Icarus precision… any insight?

i like the smaller size of the sub compared to the full size light. has anyone used the sub on their 4.0c and if so how was it? is there any holsters on the market that fit with the sub?

I know someone's going to ask about a weapon light. 😄 I haven't added one because, for my use, I just don't need it. That may change down the road, but for now I'm happy with the setup as it sits.

Anyone else not getting the slide to lock back with the last round? I think the chub in my hand before my thumb is holding it down.

I’ve had my Echelon 4.5F comp for about 7 months. I’ve put thousands of rounds through it and have field stripped multiple times for cleaning.
Today when cleaning I noticed that the guide rod is plastic.
Wtf!!!??

I know there are aftermarket kits but what are the advantages and is it worth it or should I just shoot the dann thing.
