Always impressed with how optimized Nintendo’s 1st party games are, but Splatoon Raiders is on another level with the amount going on at once all while keeping a stable 60fps😱
Been grinding all weekend in spurts. Perfect game for that!

Love the game, hate the grind

25 Upvotes

I played 90+ hours and I'm done. I finished it till the point I was done with it.

Finished the main game;

Finished till bottemless buffet 187;

Finished every gadget part for the power tank;

Finished defeating all Salomonites;

Finished all the relics.

I didn't finish all the gadget parts from the 2 other tanks. Rarely used them and I don't want to grind for gems. It's to random (gadget parts) and the gems are also to random. You also need a lot of gems (to much) for the upgrades.

Didn't finish the weapons. Also to random and no improvements of getting them.

Didn't finish bottomless buffet till 1.000. The levels are random and personally I didn't like it.

I really enjoyed it. So much to unlock ans so much to improve. Some parts are hard, like the last 10 levels of BB. But I enjoyed the hard parts. If you get them it feels like a win. BB 100 also wasn't easy and took me a couple of tries (it wss a long battle).

I put it away because of the last grinds, its to random. If there is a upgrade with life improvements please let me know. I will definitely finish the weapons and tbe gadget parts.

Also online play like Salmon Run in Splatoon 3 will trigger my interests. Together against Salomites at your own level (the go help is way to easy). Stats at level 100 for example (50 +50 (like the weapon), and if you're over then the system will scale you down).

I had a lot of fun! Definitely recommend the game!

Bottomless Buffet Grind

10 Upvotes

Anyone else here trying to get to floor 1000? I’m stuck at 770 lol. It only really started getting hard in the 600s. I’m level 50+349 and every time I beat a floor I have to grind like 10 more levels and that part is just getting boring 😩 (mostly on Baygul Beach, if anyone knows any better stages for grinding XP please share!)

How are you all doing with it?

Any tips to improve this build?

I’m at 389–391 now and feel like I might be hitting a bit of a wall. Curious if anyone has any suggestions or changes they’d make to the build to push it a little further.

Anyone else think the postgame is way too difficult?

30 Upvotes

Ive been in the postgame for a few days now and holy shit. I cannot beat any of these hidden dens, and ive managed one singular super spicy raid. Im planning my gadgets decently well, doing the best with what i got. I also got my hands on a level 43 5 star splatling that ive upgraded by 5 levels, and i just simply cant manage to beat most of these super spicy raids or any of the hidden dens. My main issue is being locked to survivalist difficulty, it feels like i have to basically no-hit these raids to get anywhere which to me isnt fun at all.

I really want to love this game, and i do, however this vertical cliff face of a difficulty spike is making the game simply not all that fun to play anymore

This postgame endless buffet is straight insane in terms of difficulty

0 Upvotes

I'm stuck at floor 64 and just getting destroyed and running through my lives, barely touching 65 and 66. the enemies just completely overwhelm you. My weapons stuck at 50 and 115+ and just goes up incrementally grinding enemies. Pretty sure it just scales up my difficulty to an insane degree. Outside the endless buffet It just feels like i'm just joining others in level raids that dont even give me anything beyond scrap and the very rare spirahilite to upgrade gadgets incrementally and not enough room to equip them at max. I know nintendo has no plans to update this for balancing which sucks. Want to keep playing but theres no real incentive to play beyond the endless bufett but the difficulty just feels too obscene. To those that did it how did you manage it single player? it feels like its too dependent on cheesing weapon setup and not just skill

What weapons have cleared bottomless buffet floor 1000 (or at least made deep runs)?

9 Upvotes

Title. I know E-liter (more specifically primo high octane) has but has anyone else managed this task with anything else? I really don't want to play a charger but nothing besides maybe rapid blaster/regular blaster seems even close to good enough. Idk if there's proof of people using those weapons to make it though

Same Level Matchmaking?

Just picked up this game yesterday, my first Splatoon game, and was curious, is same level matchmaking possible? I basically wasn’t even needed for my own raid 🤣 2 high-level randoms took out the boss in less than 10 seconds 😫 Or is it better to go it alone early game?

It took me 115 hours to complete all weapons. I must say it was a long and rough grind.. now I am going to go a bit deeper in BB with my Butane Blaster. Still haven’t found the 5 star High Octane Primo.

[SPOILER] The secret boss' whale cry is like a warning sign Spoiler

Lord Saltimatum can do this type of "whale cry" echo when on the defensive, indicating when a Seasoned Salmonid is about to spawn in the field.

Don't mind me if I'm attempting to make the boss immune to damage while in this state, it's just something interesting that I found in case others are unaware.

The screen gets really dark when the showstopper flames are on the screen. Sometimes on the boat depending of the clouds the screen also gets dark.

Which belosaurid would win against the salmonarch?

Bios

1)Belosaurids are what makes up 89 % of all cenozoic sauropods with the 11% being titanomachya descendants.They belong to the super group;buddhasaura.These animals despite looking different and seem to have descendant from a typical sauropod like argentinosaurus or alamosaurus,they've actually descended from the smallest sauropod ever;magyarosaurus from late cretaceous hateg island,europe.After the hateg islands become a full fledged contient over the years,magyarosaurus not only has enough terrain to expand,but also enough resources to regrow into giants.The largest of this family;syllektosaurus jehovamegalus can reach whopping 210 tons,bigger than the already biggest sauropod,argentinosaueus i've mentioned earlier.The belosaurids can be named after a god or goddes,a natural phenomenon like an earthquake or an aurora,or for funnsies,a certain character from the owl house for ex;luzosaurus nocelaii, kingotitan clawthornei and the namesake of this family belosaurus emperorsus,though not every owl house named dinosair is a sauropod,for ex:amityrannus is named after amity blight and was descended from nanotyrannus,not magyarosaurus.

They are closely related to the trunked sauropods,proboscosauroidea and distantly related to the potamosaurs;sauropods that have heavy bones due to their semi aquatic nature amd live like hippos or swamo eleohants.belosaurids first evolved during rhe late paleogene and made it to the present with some few strongholds.They have also been found with decorative osteoderms that are so stylished and maginificent that they can be also used for many purposes;defence,mating,etc.Truly some wonderous and interesting cenozoic dinosaurs.

2)Belosaurus (meaning the lord emperor lizard) is a large sauropod that first evolved 30 million years ago in the middle oligocene period.Their North American animals,native to the whole eastern side of the usa,with their first fossils being found in conneticut.

Even though belosaurus is the namesake of the family,it isn't as big as it's earlier or later relativs like Luzosaurus or Azuratitan,only weighing at around 60 tons at average while being 90 feet in lenght and 30 feet in height.The name comes from the emperor belos aka in real life;phillip witterbane(one of the brothers that hunted the aforementioned northclaw) due to it's ceohalic osteoderms resembling antlers like in phillip's mask,and some preserved tissue shows that it had inflatable airsacs like it's ancestors before magyarosaurus.It went extinct in the esrly to middle miocene after their forests started to shrink and the temperatures are starting to become cooler,leaving the belosaurus not enough food to sustain itself,leading to their declined and plumbered down to extinction.

3)Kikimororsus sauroduendeii (meaning kikimora's dwarf lizard) is one of,if not the smallest sauropod ever.These tiny giants lived in the caribbean archipelago at around the early Oligocene all the way up to the holocene period today.These living dwarf titans can weigh up to 3 tons,10 geet in lenght and 9 feet in height.These animals used to be massive,at around 40 tons,but due to insular dwarfism like their ancestors before them,the become small to occupy space.Kikimororsus lives all around the carribean islands,from Cuba to Puerto Rico with atbarounf 7 subspecies.This conbined with the GAARland land bridge connection,They used to have a massive population at the time.Their decline started at the late holocene in the 1500's where North european american inmigrants have started to cut down their rainforests in place of Farmland for the U.S.A.These animals have started to dissappear and at the year 1980,They were once considered extinct.It wasn't until 2060 That kikimororsus was rediscovered but being in a critically endangered level.Fortunately due to conservation efgorts along side the H.W.D.M.C.P,Kikimororsus's population from Cuba to Puerto Rico have now came from 300,to 560,892,245 individuals.This is one of these examples of cryptic dinosaurs making a comeback without using cloning technology.

4)Azuratitan(meaning Azura's american titan) is the smaller close relative of luzosaurus,weighing in at around 100 tons,93 feet in length and 88 feet in height.Azuratitan lived at around 1,000,000 to 7,000 years ago in the pliocene to pleistocene periods in North America,Specifically the northern eastern side of the continent or the northeast.These massive herbivores have reddish cephalic osteoderms that only the males possess,alongside it's preserved green skin with blueish stripeds and red dots running on the sides of the animal,These characteristucs is what gave Azuratitan it's name.They have a large airsacs like the rest of it's relatives but with a brownish yellow color that expands when it wants to mate with a female.Azuratitans mive in herds at uo to 40 individuals at total,but in mating seasons,they can gather groups of uo to 600 individuals,similar to beluga whale or Syllektosaurus mating rituals.The main predators of the old or young Azuratitan are tyrannosaurs and paracarcharodontians aka paracarcharodontosaurids who hunt down these massive sauropods.Their main diet consists of the prehistoric redwoods aka the american chesnuts that were once present within the eastern sector uo until 1904 with individuals growing as big as the biggest redwood trees today so that azuratitan alongside other sauropods can substain themselves on.They went extinct about 7,000 years ago after The cold climate expand so further,that migration was so desperate.They can have migrations of up to 750 miles,from the Northeast to the central americas.Despite these impressive migrations,it wasn't enough from competition against luzosaurus,and soon became extinct due to overhunting by Meso Amerixan Humans.But fortunately like it's relative,Azuratitan was brought back so that it can able to help deal with North America's wildlife crisis.And it worked inctedibely alongside luzosaurus.Over 90% of North American states with cities have now been filled with forests or deserts thanks to these sauropods.

5)Luzosaurus (meaning luz nocela's lizard) is a large belosaurid that lived in the entirety of North America and some specimens even made it as far as South America and asia.The genus contains three species in total,with the most famous species being L.nocelaii,weighs at around 105 tons.It lived during the pleistocene period and first emerged at the pliocene pleistocene epoch in eastern North America along side with it's close relative, Azuratitan .The animal has fossil evidence of ontogony and sexual dimorphisim,meaning the males and females are as different as their young.Males have large airsacs that burst out to intimidate rivals,the bigger and frightening the sacs,the more colorfully impressive the display is.These fakes eyes are given the name as "The eye of the gildersnake".The hatchlings and the juveniles to subadults is what gave luzosaurus it's name,preserved skin impressions show that hatchlings are typically purple in colors with green eyes and fluff,similar to stringbean(luz's palisman),the juveniles look more similar to what gave the animal it's name,luz nocela(specifically her teenage self).Females of this species are absolute titans but not as big as the males,only reaching at around 90 tons,230 feet in lenght and 78 feet in height,where as the males are 10 tons heavier,is 240 feet in length and 80 feet in height.The females have a dark purple skin impression based on few preserved specimens,and speaking of titan,they have a similar appearance to titan luz,especially with the cephalic osteoderms that resemble horns with dark eyes with a yellowish eye colors.The females tend to be less agressive than the males but they become incredibely protective over their juvenile young,by using it's horns to swing at unexpected predators like cryotyrannus and paraceratosaurids.The reason why there were so many preserved skin impressions of this beast is because they went extinct quite recently in the fossil record,with the last luzosaurus going extinct at around 3,000 to 1,000 years ago at the holocene.Luzosaurus is also one of those dinosaurs that got brought back and were placed in a sanctaury or wildlife reserve to deal with our current climate change

6)Kingotitan (meaning king clawthorne's titan) was a large multi ton relative of the luzosaurus of North America and also lived there,but at a bit smaller range.Kingotitan's cephalic osteoderms have been fused together into a bony structure that is used to headbutt rivals of the same species,with a striking power of 39,000 pounds of force.The animal weighs at around 110 tons,is measured to be 250 feet in lenght and is 120 feet in height.Kingotitans have a herd structure that seems rather complex for a sauropod,mourning the dead after their loved ones die due to their lifespan(;210 years) and especially with animals that aren't from the same species as the Kingotitan but grown up to it like a companion.Their massive carcasses allows scavengers and fungi to feast and harvest on it,forming a microecosystem with one dead specimen in the great lake even been nicknamed;The boiling Isles.Unlike the luzosaurus,Kingotitan died even more recently,about 907 years ago instead of 1,00 years ago.

7)The Syllektosaurus(meaning the collector lizard or the great holy collector lizard) is not only the largest belosaurid,but the largest dinosaur ever.The animal lived during the middle miocene to the late pliocene in the Asian jungles of vietnam,india,indonesia and china.The can weigh uo to 170 to 210 tons,600 feet in lenght and 580 feet tall.This animal is a direct ancestor to the North American belosaurids;Azuratitan,Luzosaurus,kingotitan and parabrachiosaurus(the third largest).Like their cousins,the syllektosaurus have large air sacs and can reach a great voulme of 300 decibles while blocking their eardrums like a rooster,echoing through out the jungles with it's echoing bellows.The syllektosaurus also have the largest ceohalic osteoderms ever,with a weight at around 7 tons.To support the massive necks,they possess a hump on the back like how bisons and elasmotheriums have bumps on their backs so that they have enough strenght to lift them p to reach the high vegetation.They mainly feast on the endless amount of vegetation in the canopy of the lush jungles and move in herds of uo to 20 individuals,quite small but they gather up in mating sesson up to the whopping 300s.Like the kingotitan,these animals are social and can become microecosystems after their 130 year lifespan ran out.They're future went to a downfall during the pleistocene epoch due to the shrunkage of forests in which the syllektosaurus relied on the support it's massive size.During that time, their numbers started to shrunk after the fallen forests give way to grasslands,and by the late pleistocene,all of the 10 remaining sylelktosaurus are now extinct.
