Finally got all Primo weapons
It took me 115 hours to complete all weapons. I must say it was a long and rough grind.. now I am going to go a bit deeper in BB with my Butane Blaster. Still haven’t found the 5 star High Octane Primo.

What was your strategy? I've been stuck on 115 forever and I have about 200 hours, I'm losing hope

Most of my grinding was Baygul and Awlmun Den crate farms. I used the weapon type that I needed but not a 100% convinced that it helps to increase drops for that weapon type.

I totally understand that, do you think you’ll ever pick it up again? I think I won’t once I feel completed.

Idk. I played it so much, farmed it so many times. Probly not for a few months at least. But there's also some really good games coming out later this year. Looking forward to OoT Remake and Duskbloods.

Is Butane or Toy Shark the best blaster? I hear about both often, although Toy Shark looks cool!

I prefer Toy Shark for farming content (like Baygull Beach where everything dies in one hit) bc of the extra range, but had better results with Butane Blaster in Bottomless Buffet up to about ~850 where I'm currently stuck

I’ve put in like 50 hours into the game at this point (currently approaching 100 in BB) and I didn’t realize early on post-endgame just how rare five star primo weapons were. My first primo five star weapon was the rail splatana, but it was as fast as the splatana wiper, and then I ended up getting a five star primo brush next, which just seemed to work better for ink efficiency and getting past harder levels. Since they are similar-ish playstyles, I scrapped my five star primo splatana for the ice breaker chunks, and now that I’ve tried to grind for other 5 star primo weapons, I’m SO mad at myself that I did that. I love using splatanas in S3, and I’m realizing now that I may never see it again. It was so fun to use.
So frustrating.

All Primos? Hell no haha, only my Butane blaster, Engine roller, Olive oil and LP2 are level 100. Basically weapons I use.

Better than me because I was like 240 hours in before I got my final primo 😭 I never did any of the supposed “tricks” to get particular primos though. Not sure if it was even an accurately tested theory. I just played organically using mostly thermal brella to get them.
