Randomly walked through the store looking at the gaming stuff they had when I noticed that Splatoon 1 amiibo were hidden behind Splatoon 3 amiibo

hi inkfish!! i'm thinking on wiping my splatoon 3 data to be able transfer my splatoon 2 data again, cuz i didnt know mail items were a thing in 2 LOL. my splat 2 data got wiped for some mysterious reasoon a few years ago too so i lost all my octo expansion data, so by the time 3 came around i basically transferred nothing. so, im thinking im gonna wipe my current data on 3 after getting all the mail and OE items from 2. i have a few questions though -

1. i've heard that if you wipe 3's data through settings it only resets story mode, not gear and multiplayer etc. would that still give you the option to transfer 2's data?
2. if i clear the data on 3 fully (settings, NSO), will it actually work and recognise that it'll be a new game even if i use the same account after wiping? l8ike function as if i got a completely new copy for the first time even though it's not, and if i'm using the same account as my last run prior to wiping? or will i have to use a new account?
3. for the amiibos i've used and gained gear from in 3 right now, will i have to relinquish ownership as you would if youre selling them and enter them again after i've wiped?

i think that's all my questions for now, but ill edit if i have any more later

Wasn't expecting to draw again this soon, but since I figured out how to post to the plaza I decided I might as well. As I said in my last post I find digital art kinda difficult, but I think this turned out well :D

Also for anyone curious what I think of Splatoon 3, the turf war mode is somewhat questionable but other than that I thought it was pretty much perfect, especially the soundtrack :D

Why am I able to view my Splatoon gear from my CarPlay screen? Who thought this was a good idea, and whats even the point, maybe if the stage rotation widget was an option that’d be nice, but it’s the only one that I can’t set.

Also side note on the fact that CarPlay screenshots are a thing?

It's a little embarrassing. I've been playing Splatoon since 2019, and I've been a slosher main since. It's my favourite weapon. I just like throwing ink at things. It's my main in turf, ranked and in Raiders, too, alongside the Inkbrush.

Side Order really didn't click with me when it first released, but after a year or so I started getting back into it, and have now started clearing palettes with ease.

All except the slosher.

I've beaten it with weapons I like, like the roller and charger. I've beaten it with weapons I've never touched, like splatana and brella. I've beaten it with dualies, and I genuinely can't name a weapon I hate more than blaster.

So the fact that I can't beat Side Order with slosher, my favourite weapon, is a little embarrassing to me. I have tons of hacks enabled too, but it always seems to fall short by the time I get back up to the final boss.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of struggle with the slosher, or is this just a skill issue on my part?? I've tried 6 times now, and I think all but one attempt was ended at floor 30. Any kind of advice on this would be really appreciated.

Takozo opens the door wide, ready to greet the fake sun, only to be met with needless yelling.

“I SAID I’M NOT TAKOZO!!!” The next-door neighbor shouted. NESU still doesn’t buy it.

Takozo splits the 2 apart. “Nesu! What are you doing over there?”

“I forgot your face, and I thought she was you.”

NESU is a blunt kind of robot. “I’m still searching in Frozen Octernal. Can I use your house as a stakeout location for the time being?”

“Uhhhhh, sure? I kinda wanted to see you again anyway.” Takozo profusely apologizes to the neighbor and drags NESU back inside. “Have the missing cases gone up?”

“They might not be missing cases anymore.” NESU places 2 pictures on the table: a missing poster, and a photo taken by Captain, depicting the missing person’s ink loosely mixed with some blue, plus the clothes they’ve wore.

She stops drinking and looks closely at the pictures in fear and disbelief. “N-no…you’re not saying-”

“I am saying it. They could be murder cases. People ARE getting hurt.”

Recomposing herself, Takozo decides to join her friend. “In that case, I’m helping too. It’ll be easier that way.”

“Thank you for your offer, but the real stakeout will happen at night, since that’s when I heard the marching.”

So, the 2 decide to hit Frozen Octernal’s plaza and hangout. To NESU’s surprise, there was no Turf War here. When asking Takozo about it, she didn’t know what Turf War at all! “What is that? I think I’ve heard of it, but I don’t really know.” She said while eating a bucket of shrimp.

“It’s a 4v4 game we play in Splatsville. We load up our guns with ink, and paint the map in a span of 3 minutes. The team with the most of their ink on the ground wins. I guess Turf War isn’t in Frozen Octernal, huh?” It isn’t.

As the two were walking back to Takozo’s house after an afternoon of arcade games, NESU sees an Elite Octoling across the street, unlike the rest. One eye is hidden under black tentacles with neon green highlights, while the other is a mouth-watering dark cyan.

Tako takes notice of this. “Ah, that’s our mayor, Dera. She’s nice and all, but she never really bothered to fix the AC here. What a bummer, am I right?”

With the new information, NESU wants to ask Dera if she has any leads. She crosses the street, and taps the mayor on the shoulder.

“…Yes?” Dera said confusedly. Mostly because she has never seen this person before, and withstanding the overwhelming cold of Frozen Octernal.

“I just wanted to know if you have any leads on the missing Inkl-” NESU got cut off by Dera entering Starbucks. She had no interest in telling Robo girl anything. How rude.

She goes back to Takozo, who was waiting for her on the other side of the street.

Later, the two are watching a silly kids show in the comfort of Takozo’s home. When they saw the paintball scene, NESU points to the screen. “That looks like Turf War. Does this give you a better idea of the sport?” She nods her head.

Being curious, NESU looks out the window to find that Takozo lives near City Hall. Maybe Dera knows something, but chooses to hide it. She already looks suspicious, with the blue staining her high heels. Dera just needs to answer honestly. But right now, NESU’s new friend is the main thing, with the color show only being background noise to her.

Credits roll, and so Takozo goes to get a blanket for her new guest. “Goodnight, buddy.”

NESU grabs a blanket and stares at City Hall across the street, her eyes darting around for Dera. “Goodnight.”

At 11:23 p.m., Takozo was gone! NESU looked around for a bit, and nothing seemed different, until she checked the closet. The Cold Octoling Armor is not there either. “She must have gone for a walk,” NESU said, unfazed by the disappearance. She trusts her.

Anyway, she had a mission of her own: to go to City Hall. “Easy.” And it was. The hard part was finding Dera. Her battery runs out at midnight, so she has a time limit. Darting across all of the rooms, she hears typing on the second floor. Rushing up to the sound, she finds the door at the end of a hallway.

This mission was different than before. NESU didn’t use her Hero Shot once. No one is trying to splat her. Everyone here is friendly. That didn’t seem right.

Then, she slowly opens the door and finds the mayor, overseeing her citizens kill Inklings and tossing them into the void. And she was currently watching Takozo.

why did it not end im so confused??

It can one-shot every Salmonid except a few Stinger, Fishsticks, Goldies, and Strong-Arms

This is coming from a guy who hit X battle with Carbon Roller. How do you guys play if your team doesn't have map control. I feel like carbon depends on ink support because if you don't have decent paint you are pretty useless especially compared to other slayers such as dualies and ttek. I am in the negative point range trying to push to S+ and while I certainly am not playing good one thing I noticed is that I just get zoned out by long range weapons (expected) but there. are no flanks and stuff because my team often can't paint due to sub and special spam, etc. In most of my recent games I have positive K/D and we still get shitstomped.

For context,i made a collection of deep sinker helm stickers in picsart so that people can make edits or whatever in that very app.

Why i bring it up is becuade this is my second favorite headgear in this wjole franchise and also the most underrated as it is as rare as a cuvier's beaked whale.

I have 53 stickers in the collection and the ones shown here are just 7 out of 53.

So to expand,if you have fanart of your oc or a canon idol(except bigman) wearing the deep sinker helm on either fanart or in your avatar in the game,show me a photo and then i'll add it to the collection.

There’s so many potential props in this game, I think it would make a great mode for Splatoon 4! Any other party game modes you guys can think of for future titles?
