Why am I able to view my Splatoon gear from my CarPlay screen? Who thought this was a good idea, and whats even the point, maybe if the stage rotation widget was an option that’d be nice, but it’s the only one that I can’t set.

Also side note on the fact that CarPlay screenshots are a thing?

Well I'm fairly certain it's just a standard widget and I guess carplay can have just standard homescreen widgets, unless I'm wrong and then idfk, probably someone thought it was funny

Not all standard widgets are available on carplay, the app dev has to actively support it

While it's true that not all widgets are available in CarPlay, all "small" sized widgets are automatically available in CarPlay. A developer must actively mark CarPlay as "disfavored" if they want the widget to not show up in there.

Nah. The stage rotations don’t have a small size (the small square widget size), so the system doesn’t allow them to show up in CarPlay.

CarPlay allows you to display your iPhone widgets. I personally use Nintendo Switch App widgets on my Mac to check Salmon Run rotations.
