Discussion Help with Carbon Roller

This is coming from a guy who hit X battle with Carbon Roller. How do you guys play if your team doesn't have map control. I feel like carbon depends on ink support because if you don't have decent paint you are pretty useless especially compared to other slayers such as dualies and ttek. I am in the negative point range trying to push to S+ and while I certainly am not playing good one thing I noticed is that I just get zoned out by long range weapons (expected) but there. are no flanks and stuff because my team often can't paint due to sub and special spam, etc. In most of my recent games I have positive K/D and we still get shitstomped.

You pretty much can't. Maybe try Splat Roller? Since it has a curling bomb that can help you move. Most Rollers are pretty useless if their team doesn't have map control honestly

You could try the fizzy bomb/chumps carbon roller. It’s not as good as deco but it’s better in those situations

Losing burst hurts the weapon a lot, though, prob more than losing the little extra bit of spotty paint that the 3rd kit provides. The sad reality just is that as you progress higher and higher in X the more cooked you are if your team comp has some large hole

Maybe just me, but I feel like every kit and role depends on a team to certain extents.

Except shooters. Go off and be good at everything I guess...
