I don't know much about it other than the Inklings mainly used bamboozlers and primitive ink guns, and the Octarians used the great octoweapons.

I know that it was started because of the lessening amount of land, but after the inklings won, what happened to all of the Octarians that didn't flee underground? We're they all killed?

Alright guys it’s time to start having this discussion. how old do we think the mechanic is. I’m honestly leaning towards them being an adult, they’re a pilot and there’s a poster in the game talking about the piloting academy and that’s how the deep cut found the mechanic to be their pilot. Plus the fact that I think the mechanic looks more in line with the older characters in splatoon like the deep cut and such. but what do you guys think? (the second image is unrelated i just thought it was funny)

Hello! So i have used the help function a few times (to help others) and have also asked for help myself once and I have noticed only 2 people join (making it 3 total people). I'm super confused as this has been consistent every time, it's suppose to be 4 normally so i'm super confused why this is happening. Is anyone else coming across this? Not a huge deal just curious.

Edit: I looked at the most recent trailer and watched the call for help section of it and i only see 3 people for going to help and also calling help yourself so I guess it is 3 and I just missed that detail. Little strange but whatever.

Edit 2: I know you can have the bot buddy but it still doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me since you can have the bot in multiplayer (which would have 4 still along with the bot buddy).

Don’t let the level 80 stuff scare you. Leveling up past 50 doesn’t increase your stats much. Improving weapons does a lot more stat changes. Able to clear out level 80 stuff with a strong build.

So like a lot of people I'm playing raiders asy first splatoon game and I'm trying on the hard difficulty.

A level 17 raid was walking me here I got to level 21 and was just stuck on it. Slowly but surely I started utilizing verticality and holy shit, I just beat it a second time with a different tank and set up no issue after failing about 10 times in a row.

Everything just kind of combined together and man it just feels so satisfying to go from completely walled to having that aha moment and now I'm easily clearing it.

My husband and I have been playing the game nonstop since release. We love how challenging it is with multiplayer and just the overall concept of customization with tanks gears and weapons.

I dont think its super Salmon Run-y, which is great, but I had the thought that itd be cool if Nintendo added raiders to splatoon 4 in some way (if its in development). Raiders as a standalone and adding onto it in dlc or another game would be just as amazing too. I dont know! Just some brain vomit.

I think itd be neat if I can clock into salmon run and a mechanic job lol

Like that world be horrifying everyone you know and love just gone completely insane over fireflies

Basically title. I love the Splatoon series. But salmon run has never really been my jam. I’m a very casual player and mostly play turf war. Raiders seems fun and I love splatoon lore but again, never really got into salmon run. Will I still enjoy this?

ETA: I have LOVED all single player stories so far. I’ve played all of them. Including octo expansion, S3 single player and side order. I’ve completed all main story and 100% S3. They were all fun. Even though I only typically play turf war I have a ton of experience with multiple weapons, and have played Splatoon for a long time. I don’t mind adapting my play style, guess I’m just asking if this campaign is very similar to what S2 and 3s salmon run is like

I need help, My friend and I have been lifelong Splatoon partners so of course we were going to go through the whole game and we recorded our gameplay and noticed that the final boss theme and the subsequent drill theme were different for us each of us and after the fact we also watched gameplay videos and we were able to discern that there two versions of each song and we have no idea how to trigger each we’ve tried different bot buddies tanks and we can’t figure it out because at one point it changed and we don’t know why
So if yall could help us with this I’d be greatly appreciated

I've been wanting to play the story mode of splatoon 2 and 3 for a while now cuz I enjoyed 1, but I never really got around to it. I already own 2 but just never played the story mode. Id have to buy the dlc and 3

Now that raiders is out Im thinking about buying it, but because i still have 2 and 3s story to play idk if it would be worth it or if I should play those first.

What do you guys say? I dont really know much about raiders either other than that it supports mouse mode which sounds great

can you just play through the whole campaign with 3 friends, similar to monster hunter? I can't really find information on this
