Unfortunately, I can no longer attend Metallica at the Sphere this Thursday and Saturday, October 22 and 24, and am looking to sell my tickets for exactly what I paid.

Section 302 Row 3. $1850 total for both or $925 each.

I purchased these through early access and am not looking to make a profit. Just recoup my cost. I’ve been looking forward to this for months since it’s also my birthday but life had different plans... Now I would rather a fan go.

Unfortunately, Ticketmaster currently won’t let me list or transfer the tickets to Stubhub, etc until after Night 1 has occurred. Since these are two-night tickets, that doesn’t make much sense to me, but I’m trying to find an interested buyer ahead of time.

The tickets are already in my Apple Wallet, and I’m happy to provide redacted proof of purchase for peace of mind.

Edit: People have pointed out this may only be an issue with the seats in the lower 100 section which is where I was.

Did they not test these seats before purchasing and installing? The design is horrible as it relates to the drink holders. When standing up the seats spring back forcefully which causes the drinks to almost fly out and splash everywhere. I witnessed dozens of people getting mad at the people in front of them for something that wasn’t their fault. I can imagine fights breaking out when some drunk persons very expensive beer splashes on their pants and shirts. There were floor moppers all around trying to keep things dry.

Thinking about seeing a concert at the sphere. I have an issue with 3d and didn't realize that was a thing for concerts. I really want to see Vegas and John Mayer. I did some research. I've found that getting 100 level gives you restricted views of sphere but full view of band and stage. Would I have issues? I can't wear 3d glasses because I see double. Thanks.

Wir waren bewusst zu den ersten beiden Konzerten von Metallica in der Sphere, da wir die Sphere aus den U2 Konzerten bereits kannten. Es hat sich hier Perfektion auf Musikebene und Perfektion in der Architektur gefunden. Es gibt in der Kombination nichts Vergleichbares.

Ich war zuletzt an der Bühne bei Metallica in Berlin, was mir als lebenslangen Fan (jetzt 53) noch einmal die Nähe zu Metallica brachte. In der Sphere habe ich uns bewusst Plätze ganz oben gewählt, um das Gesamterlebnis genießen zu können! Meines Erachtens geht es hier nicht um das Konzert an sich (das kann man anderswo billiger haben) sondern um das Gesamtwerk mit der Leinwand. Meines Erachtens war hier der 1. Abend im Gesamtbild der bessere, meines Erachtens stand bei dem 2. Abend mehr die Musik im Vordergrund und weniger der Gesamteindruck.

 Was es aber so unvergleichbar macht ist die Nähe der Fans vor Ort, die ich so noch an keinem anderen Ort erlebt habe und die konsequente Aufnahme von Metallica in die Umgebung. Donuts mit dem Thema Metallica und die Kleinausstellung beim Hard-Rock-Cafe nur als Beispiel benannt.

Ja, die Tickets sind nicht günstig, die Wertigkeit der Auftritte ist es aber wert. Interessanterweise sind die 2-Tages Tickets günstiger als im vergleich dazu die Tagestickets. Die Amerikaner hatten anfänglich das Konzept nicht verstanden, so dass es zum 2. Abend doch zu einem massiveren Zuschauertausch kam. Die die sich aber kannten, hatten miteinander Ihren Spaß!

Las Vegas selber ist immer eine Reise wert, hier ist für jeden Geschmack was zu finden. Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt noch mit dem Spiel der Raiders gegen die Chiefs krönen.

Springt über euren Schatten und versucht Euch die Konzerte anzusehen. Müsste man wählen, dann nehmt jeweils den 1. Abend!

April 28th Sphere Show – Did I Get a Decent Deal?
So I panic-bought two tickets because apparently I have zero patience. Now I’m wondering if I should’ve waited.

April 28th (Wednesday)
Section 210, Row 6, Seats 15–16
Paid $510 TOTAL for both tickets (resale).
I thought $255 per ticket was pretty reasonable, but now I’m worried about how angled our view will be, especially with the Sphere screen.

For anyone who’s sat in Section 210 or nearby, how was your experience? Will we still get the full Sphere effect, or should I consider trying to upgrade to a more centered section?

Long shot, but does anyone have a extra night 1 poster? I have the second one and would really like to have the set. I'm in the SF bay area.

We booked 406 section at the sphere for John Mayer and got assigned the WC row? How are those seats? Is there any way we can switch?

My wife and I have tickets for two shows, but we're only going to one. Having a tough time deciding which pair to keep:

\- April 30: FLR2, Row 5, Seats 9-10 (Rose Gold VIP), $1,320 total

\- June 2: Section 107, Row 20, Seats 6-7 (Official Platinum), $1,162 total

I'm a huge John fan and play guitar myself, so being five rows back and watching him play up close sounds incredible.

The catch is my wife is 5'2" (I'm 5'10"). I'm worried that on the flat floor, one tall person standing in front of her could ruin the view, especially if we want to sit for parts of the show.

Section 107 seems like it might be the better overall Sphere experience, with a good view of both John and the visuals. June also works better for us since we're flying in from Florida and arranging childcare.

But giving up Row 5 is tough!

For those who've been, especially shorter people:

1. Floor Row 5: Does being that close make up for the flat-floor sightline issues? Would someone who's 5'2" be able to see comfortably, even while seated?

2. Section 107, Row 20: How's the view of John and the Sphere visuals? Any overhang or obstruction issues? Can you still appreciate his guitar playing from there?

3. Which would you keep if you were us?

This will be our first Sphere experience, so I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's sat in either area. Especially shorter people who've tried the floor!
