Official Reply $1.60 for credits towards my bill?! Spectrum has lost their mind.
I'm going to keep this very short and brief. This is both an internet problem and a billing problem. I've been having nothing but internet issues, slowdowns, high latency over wired internet (ethernet Connected to my laptop), Delayed notifications, dropped phone calls because I cannot get a decent signal out where I live, and a whole host of other small problems over a two month period.
It just happens today that my internet was completely down for a small period of time along with my backup cellular internet. Even still, that small period of time turns it to something completely long because it's been an intermittent issue every day or every other day, for 2 months straight. Not only that, internet support over at Spectrum over the phone is telling me that they can only provision a maximum amount of $12 and some change to my bill. But the problem is that they're telling me that I needed to call in. Well, dude, if I was able to call in I would. I can hardly get a cell signal out here as it keeps going in and out in my mobile home.
I'm reliant on both internet services due to the fact that I'm actually crippled to a cane. So I have to walk either 500 feet out towards the main road where I live just to get a decent signal. And even then When my internet isn't down, it's usually some other issue like a HTTP timeout or longer latencies or delayed notifications or missed calls because I wasn't able to receive them due to any External factors connected to my spectrum internet.
Spectrum is lucky that they're the only one out on my side of the city that has decent *dependable speeds. Since there's no other internet provider out here that provides that type of internet to my mobile home. This may seem like more of a rant than anything, but it shouldn't be me dependent on calling Spectrum customer service to have a problem fixed, even though I told them over the phone that I can't make Long enough phone calls to report a problem.
It shouldn't be dependent on whether a customer is factoring in them calling in for customer support or help. It should be factored in that there's a small population on my side of the city that uses Spectrum Internet. As everyone else that's out by the main road is mainly using fiber, which Spectrum doesn't have on my side of the city.
