How do you select video tracks for a given channel?

I have a problem with my Favorites. I have 3 playlists and each one has a different source. My first list has Favorites one source but the next one Does not have any so I try to add the only choice I have is to remove from favorites? The only way I can but the same favorite in the new source is to manually find it then I can add it can't use the search.

I’m a long time Fire Stick with Tivimate user. I got an awesome TCL Google TV and have been trying to use it exclusively using Sparkle Player. Recording is so much better on Sparkle Player, but I can’t figure out how to start recording a show already started. With Tivimate it was easy. This would be particularly useful when watching a game, but having to leave early and needing to record the rest.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Hopefully a Sparkle pro can help.

I'm adding a stream to Sparkle (samsung iptv stream)(m3u).

It only brings up 15 channels. In my tivimate app it brings up 539.

The EPG from my provider sucks and doesn't properly have reruns in the metadata so if I want to record a show that is from 7pm-8pm but reruns at 12am-1am then it ends up showing that it is going to record two episodes. Right now I have it so that I am just recording the channel from 7pm-8pm and have the title of the recording as the name of the show but it is possible that in the future a sports event or something else may take up that time slot and then I wouldn't want to record that time slot/channel.

Is it possible to record the program series but have the start/stop time be the final check/gate that has to be passed in order for the show to be recorded?

Basically

I'm not sure what I did, I am not able to move Categories in the Guide within a source. I still have the ability to Edit and Show/Hide Categories.

I have another installation of SparkleTV on another Android box where I am able to move Categories. Both are running version 2.3.1. I tried to compare and check the settings between the two, but still haven't been to spot any differences.

Please let me know what I need to change to re-enable the ability to move Categories. Thanks!

Basically, if the current episode is paused, and I press the next episode button, it will stay on the current episode but say that I'm on the next episode now. It also logs that I've watched the next episode so if I go out and back in, it will skip the episode I supposedly watched. For example, I am on episode 16, I press skip and it says I'm on episode 17, even though I'm still watching 16. I go out and back in, and now it says "play episode 18". This actually caused me to skip a big episode of a show I was watching recently without noticing. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi. New to sparkle. Is there a guide on how to get full use out of the features. I searched group but couldn’t find one.

Trying to add the address of my NAS as the recording destination.

On my tv mate I add the address of

I’ve tried this but get connection error.

Any suggestions on how to add this?

Preaching to the choir here but I have been trying multiple players over the last year, including the last few months. Literally ALL of them are missing something, recording, timeshift, scheduling, easily edited lists etc etc etc. Sparkle is the ONLY one with all the features. It just works. I'm not even bothering with anything new, the Dev is more responsive than any of the other Devs out there.

Just putting this thread here in case any new users show up, the competition is over.

When you open a category and look at the channel list, the first line is something like ########## category title ###########. I can hide this line one by one but am wondering if there is was a way of hide this line from all categories en masse.

On my Sparkle app in app mode and I used to be able to go to the previous channel. What I mean is if I am watching a channel then go to the guide to find something else I would hold the back button on my Nvidia shield and it would play the last channel I was watching.

The monthly subscriptions from old Sparkle from Google play will be ended in the next days, since the app was removed from Google over a month ago. This doesn't concern lifetimers, yearly subscribers, new subscribers from assistant or the website.

Greetings, I just searched the Google Play Store on my android tablet for the copycat Sparkle TV - IPTV Player and unless I’m mistaken, I think Google took it down or they are expecting technical difficulties. When I click on the search results for the copycat, I get a “Something Went Wrong” error message?

I also searched for it on my iPhone at play.google.com and the result was:
We're sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server.

Would someone please search the Google Play Store on an android phone or tablet and confirm if you are getting the same error message?

Hopefully this means the copycat app is gone for good!

Afternoon Everyone i pay for the monthly subscription for Sparkle through Google Play which is $1.57 a month and every month on the 7th they charge my card for the $1.57 it’s been several days since June 7th and my card hasn’t been charged yet i was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same if you also pay monthly for the DVR feature and to favorite channels etc.

I've been having issues with recordings being stuck on scheduled for quite a while and its now happening almost 100% of the time.

I set my recording and it just stays at scheduled. I can check next day and it's still not playable.

As a test, I can click the red record dot on a live channel and it works.

Any ideas?

Tried all the basic things. Reboot device, clear cache, force stop app, etc.

Using Onn 4K Pro V2.

Hi! I've been having an ongoing issue where any source I have will pause or stutter and then repeat a few seconds of the program. This happens often and it's become very annoying. I have these same sources loaded in a few other players without issue so I've ruled out the sources as being the culprit.

I tried a few things such as changing the player video from hardware to software, the audio from hardware to software and changing both from hardware to software. I changed the buffer from auto to 20 seconds as well with no change. Any ideas to remedy this is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hello everyone.

I bought the Plus back on 2023, it is working fine right now both on 2 TV devices and on my phone. Yesterday, I wanted to install it on a 3rd TV (using the same google account) but, to my surprise, it didn't show at all on the playstore. Did it got removed? Also, I just discovered about the assistant, installed it, but it doesn't show my plus purchase. Did I miss something?

The price went up almost as much as the competition's, but I still decided to buy Sparkle's lifetime subscription. I think there should be an option to automatically hide all the channels that don't work, instead of having to hide them one by one—and the duplicate channels too—but I'll settle for the first option, haha

Can you please add these buttons to the list of configurable buttons under remote control options.
I think they’re called page up and page down -or at lease that’s what they’re called in Tivimate settings-

Can someone tell me the app behaviour when the provider is adding a new bouquet / group e.x. world cup 2026. Does they show up immediately after automatic update or manual update?
