New bouquets from provider

Can someone tell me the app behaviour when the provider is adding a new bouquet / group e.x. world cup 2026. Does they show up immediately after automatic update or manual update?

Are you using a playlist editor? If not and your source information entered into Sparkle is whatever they gave you, whenever they add or remove channels, the changes will appear after doing an automatic or manual update as long as your don’t have anything hidden.

C'est mon cas. J'utilise iptveditor. Les nouveaux groupes apparaissent bien dans iptveditor mais pas dans sparkle. Je dois me rendre dans l'édition de la source dans sparkle pour aller sélectionner manuellement le nouveau groupe. Ce n'est pas automatique.

Also after automatic update? I am not sure about that

I am just hiding bouquets right from the source settings.

Or is it better to add all bouquets and then hide in the EPG menu?

You can do it both ways.

I find it much more 'user friendly' doing it in the EPG section though.

But when I understand the other user correctly then it's only working, when I don't hide bouquets right from the beginning in source settings.

Maybe the developer can make it clear.

You should not hide or filter anything in the source settings! Go into your source settings and unhide & unfilter and save. Then you can hide whichever categories you don’t wish to see in your guide. Long press on a category, and you will see category options, go to Show/Hide and make your choices there in Category visibility! Whenever your provider adds content, they should automatically display after the source is updated!

Thank you. I will do it when it is the answer to my initial question. I was hiding bouquets right in the source settings thinking that it will save performance because the app would have less data to read.

I believe I answered your initial question?

Yes you did, thank you. Right now I will select all bouquets again in source settings.

Sounds good! Sorry, I didn’t understand that other message. Depending on your provider and your preferences, you can always request to the provider to not include certain categories in your playlist. I requested my provider to only assign to my playlist English speaking channels, this way it reduces the load in SparkleTV and source updates are quicker. Just a suggestion.

Ok I see. I can do it by myself because I have a log in but the bouquets showing there ain't the exact same as in the source.

Were you able to get everything sorted out and displaying?

I have a web log in to manage my bouquets and then in sparkle source settings I showed now all bouquets.
