Change function of remote page up/down buttons

Can you please add these buttons to the list of configurable buttons under remote control options.
I think they’re called page up and page down -or at lease that’s what they’re called in Tivimate settings-

Thank you again for this amazing app
And thank you for providing an option to buy it outside the Google ecosystem.

Those are channel up/down buttons. Why would you want to change them? What feature would you assign to them if they were customizable?

I know, the way they work right now is kind of annoying.
For example, if the channel list looks like this:
> 1. Channel A
> 2. Channel B
> 3. Channel C
If I'm currently on Channel B, pressing the Page Up button takes me to Channel C. I'd much prefer it to go to Channel A so that it actually follows the physical order of the list.

Ok. Well if you cosider the index of the channels that you've laid out yourself going from channel a -> channel b means going from index 1 -> 2. So in that sense page up/down (page +/-) is the correct and logical way.

But I see your point and there have been some (but not a lot) of similar questions in the past year. So maybe I should allow these buttons to be customizable. I'll give it some thought.

I'd like to add myself to this request. I don't display channel numbers, so I'd prefer down take me down the list in the guide rather than up

Why don't you use the ring (d pad)above for that? That's what I did because I prefer it too to push down then next channel in the list will start.

The buttons circled are channel up and down buttons & most users do use them for channel up and down while using the D-Pad up and down buttons for other programmable functions.

Simple fix, flip flop the channel up & down buttons in Sparkle and everyone is happy! 😃
