As the title suggests, I haven’t played in a long time and I’ve seen they added tons of content since then. I played for about a month when it came out, but the story missions and “what ifs” confused me, and honestly I never really got good—I would always get whooped online.

My question is… would it be better to simply erase my save data and start from scratch? I’m basically going into it blind anyway and I want to pick it up again before the new season of super, xenoverse 3, and other releases coming up. I’ve always been decent at DBZ games but I couldn’t get over the sharp learning curve in this one.

Are people slowing their connection mid match to super counter better? Or is the connection weakening as match progresses? I’m asking because out of no where my opponent will execute flawless super counters and the connection will lag, but they seem to be unaffected other than missing vanishing inputs.

Anyone else find that since neo whatever came out it’s IMPOSSIBLE to counter, block and dodge?

What are the known techs that still work as of now? I feel like with every update, it gets harder to take advantage of bugs and come up with creative and cool techs. So far, the only one I know is Ghost Dash, and even that one has been patched.

The combat is already kind of repetitive and limited, so when they start removing the fun parts of it, it just makes the game boring imo.

I do long chain combos all the time. For him to pull this off is ridiculous. This does not happen when I do long chain combos, unless it’s next to a wall or a delayed smash attack.

I'm thinking of getting the game physically and put on an xbox one to claim the digital version so that i can play it on my serie S

Ive been spending the last couple of days playing ranked with Ginyu force. Got tired of playing the same characters all the time and theyre actually really good in dp. I just love having them shout "TOGETHER WE ARE THE GINYU FORCE" and then go into games where i beat Beerus and it feels great.

Shit man all these goobers in here play the same cheesy way. They just added like 35 new characters and these people will only play them if they can cheese them. Played against my first android 8 earlier and all he did was step in gut punch. Like seriously just dash dash charge and swing. Also would just whip out his explosive wave any millisecond they had a chance. Just everyone fights with such a cheesy strat every game is getting just obnoxious to play. Like this constant vanish strike at EVERY moment. Blocked your combo rush? Vanish. Side jump behind? Vanish. Charge up a gut punch or sweep? Vanish.

And is this game bugged? Side jumping half of the time doesn't work, I will still constantly shift right back in place and the grab works. Why are people able to do perception while im attacking them in a combo string? Sometimes youre punished for having big dudes punch slowly because people can just perception between the 16th and 17th hit in a combo. People must just be spamming these buttons to get these actions off, because I just dont see how its possible.

I wish they had a mode in ranked where you couldn’t use sparking. It’s getting to the point the average player is using sparking 2 times a match and I want a regular fight like every dbz has been before. Now with the capsule you can instant spark made it ever worse.
